And the reason? Chinese? Traditionalist medicine got so popular, you can blame one Mao. Who would not allow Western European medical experts or medication into the country? Before that, it was heavily. Something that you might. Do, but mainly people using Western medicine before that.
I don't think you can totally blame Mao. Traditional medicine is very popular in Taiwan too and the reason most people give is they had a problem that western medicine couldn't fix but a traditional doctor got it sorted. Also apparently they are still big on aphrodisiacs and fertility medicine, at least according to by buddy who's wife kept force feeding him strange herb cocktails because she really REALLY wanted to have a baby during the year of the dragon.

I imagine India has the same problem China does. Modern medicine is expensive and there's a billion of them that want it. Traditional medicine is dirt cheap (and usually just dirt) and if people are happy with it than your problem goes away. It's just the stupid ones dying anyway. I imagine India pushes traditional medicine for that reason just as China does.

The difference is ginseng root actually has medical benefits and a lot of traditional Chinese medicine. That isn't trying to make your Dick, bigger, actually. Has some actual therapeutic effects on the human body.
Acupuncture actually has some scientific backing behind it.
Drinking cow piss and shit does not. That is the fundamental difference. And it doesn't replace. Actual medical experts. It's just something. That can be used sometimes.
Just like European herbal remedies. Some of them actually do have basis and actual medicine. Indian herbal remedies would probably give you several different. Infections. You shouldn't drink urine simply due to the fact that it is all the points. That the body filtered out and does not need.

The graphics they displayed were "fake", that is simulated, but the actual spacecraft was probably real.
None of the major space agencies confirmed there was a spacecraft launched from India. Not NASA (USA), not ROSCOSMOS (Russia), and not CNSA (China). Literally NOBODY else actually confirmed their "moon landing".

So the Indian moon landing was legit fake right? I watched that shit and I was genuinely in awe.
100%. Its literally a gigantic scam and they used powerpoint to 'simulate' the moon landing. Knowing about Jeet society and how they hold scamming, raping, and cheating on high regard, there is no way they can make it to the moon.

IIRC, some people know their traditional medicine is bunk and just use it as a financial flex (i.e. look at the amount of cash I can burn to acquire organs/plants of dubious legality).

This one might make you sick to your stomach. Never trust an Indian eatery:
Out of curiosity I looked into a few health inspection reports of restaurants in my town. The local Italian place had a minor infraction of improperly labelled leftover food. Contrast this with the inspector literally finding rodent droppings in the local Indian restaurant. For whatever reason this was still considered a pass.

Think about all the videos that you've seen coming out of India showing a blatant disregard for basic hygiene. Do you think these people magically unlearn all of that when they open an establishment that handles food?

Hell, Indian's put out milk for rats because they believe the rats are their reincarnated brothers and family members.
  1. Thats gross. I've known people with pet rats and those are cute but Indians do it with wild rats and these rat temples have thousands of rats in them. That isn't healthy.
  2. What does it say about your own culture that you believe in karma and reincarnation and your own family members are being reincarnated as rats. Maybe going from pajeet to rat is an upgrade in their society? But this lead me to point number...
  3. They seem perfectly fine with their relatives coming back as rats like they fully expect those assholes sanjay and samir to go down the karma ladder when they died.
But yeah. Indian's are way to comfortable with rodents and insects being a close part of their lives. They shouldn't be cooking other people food to eat.

Isnt this just scamming?

This is actually the most realistic part of this. Even in functional societies, its pretty normal to have one or two family members that you just know are on the wrong side of the coin. Now imagine the ratio of them among jeets.

But yeah. Indian's are way to comfortable with rodents and insects being a close part of their lives. They shouldn't be cooking other people food to eat.
What I'm more curious to is the cultural reasoning as to why. Generally speaking most traditions form from practical attitudes, and even religious ideals tend to accidentally or otherwise have practical effects. What positive social influence could there be to jeets venerating pests rather than exterminating them? Every other society out there learned pretty quickly into basic agriculture to protect the stored food from pests, and huge amounts of culturally common activities came downstream from that - swathes of civic sanitation basically came from keeping the stuff pests like, such as human shit, away from the food so they wouldn't ruin it.

The only answer that comes around is generally just normalizing an awful level of decay. If you just accept the rats as normal, you don't expect anyone to try and do anything about it. Do that for a few centuries, and that becomes your norm. But that's most certainly not a british attitude, so it predates the Raj. They've been accepting of filth a long damned time.
