What happens if all the accumulated filth builds up in the system and the cooling fails or it erodes bits of it? The seawater pumped into Fukushima Daiichi was a good short term fix when the disaster happened, but it fucked up the reactors with all the minerals it deposited in them. Imagine if distilled shit or half a rotting corpse got stuck in the data centre. At least it's not a nuclear power station, but some data centres are powered by small ones.
