Depends. The whole system is weird, but they definitely hold whites in very high regard but also contempt. A good example would be vivek ramaswamy. He wants to pal around with white Christian conservitives but thinks Americans are lazy. They want to be seen as the successors of the English. Generally, they do think they are better than other non-whites. Then their is the whole caste system, which is confusing, because Indians will hate Indians not just based on caste, but religion (including their own), geography, skintone, and nationality (Pakistan and India, were once just India).

Long ago at uni, I had a Jeeta dormmate, she was always so negative about Indians, and I thought she was exaggerating, turns out I should have listened.
