This is one of those things that annoys me, because people see immigration as a means to enriching themselves, and not enriching their local area. People can always go "oh people have always migrated", which is true - as if that makes things right, people have always killed and raped.

The problem with such ideals (with both extensive internal, within a country, and external to another) is that what you're effectively doing is not putting the work in to enrich your own area, and are instead enriching yourself, and say if people in that area put the effort in to make it prosperous you're trying to leach off of them and fuck over those that put hard work and effort in, for some larger global corporation.

I remember reading about the most dangerous man-eating animals, as in individual animals not kills across the entire species, and the ones who managed to rack up kills in the dozens, if not hundreds, were always from India.
