Honestly, jeets are lucky that the slur for them is a made-up name. We could have gone with Sukhdeep or Poojari or Arshit or Shitesh or Hardik. All real given names in India.
The only nation with remotely comparably retarded names is China, and only because they are nonsensical to us not because of any meaning confusion. Even average Chinese names are automatically racially coded as recognizably Chinese.
I'm sure Sukhdeep means something really cool and badass in Punjabi. Chinks caught on to the fact that their names sound retarded to us so they often give themselves Western names when they move overseas, to save themselves the indignity of having everyone you meet snicker when you tell them your name is Dong Bang.
