On today's episode of pajeets at my job


One of them always mouths off at me at the toolbox meeting because "you don't work in your assigned department saar you must work in your designated area waaaah". Today my manager finally tweaked out and said he was a lazy shitbag who does virtually zero work and just plays on his phone all day. Pajeet had a mini meltdown and started threatening "I WANT YOU TO FIRE ME SAAR SO I CAN SHOW YOU SOMETHING" whatever the fuck that means

Second funny pajeet event today: I showed up to work with some chrome spinners on my car, I work in a business complex so there is all sorts of walks of life all over the place at all hours of the day. Was looking out of the window during my break and saw a mini minority gathering at my car, I'm like 70% sure one of the pajeets tried to spin them and got his finger caught between the spinner and the rim.

Don't get me wrong, I think that modern Indian culture is backwards and mass Indian migration has been a net negative for the rest of the world. If every country deported their foreign-born Indians back to India tomorrow, things would undoubtedly improve in the long run. However, the fact that they are Homo sapiens gives them (and us) an inherent, irrevocable dignity. (Most) jeets are stupid and we need to stop accepting them into Western countries en masse, but I won’t celebrate them suffering and dying indiscriminately in their own homeland.

You mean well when you say this but this is fundamentally the problem at the heart of jeets. You're thinking like a white person - this is good, but you have to understand how truly worthless jeets are. They won't HAVE money and also there's just going to be another one to replace them. They can go back to India for a few years, then you have to try to find a Raquesh Kumar in a single apartment full of 50 Raquesh Kumars. Then if they make it back here they will just rename.

What everyone thinks as a justice system and/or the ability to sue, is based on preemptively taking the assumption that everyone is white and generally trying to be honest. You CAN'T sue brown people because they are poor enough and okay with just running away and changing their name. The problem with the justice system in the USA is that "everything has to be handled on an individual case by case basis" which means they can't assume that a brown person will just run, and they do. The justice system goes, "they can't do that, that'd be illegal, you have to somehow catch them on your own and prove they ran".

White people want nice houses and families and to keep that, you have to not be sued all the time and lose everything so you actually have to do the right thing. Jeets don't think like that. Jeets think they are rich if there is 5 of them in one apartment, down from 50 like how it was in India. They don't give a shit about anything you correctly see as important - so they can just run at any time.

They got conquered by actual Aryans, and to prevent racemixing with inferior native jeet stock they introduced the caste system.

Obviously, this solution didn't work out in the long run, which is one more reason you need to keep your country homogenous and not allow lesser races in.

DB2 as a database is a hungry hippo, it immediately upon start grabs massive amounts of memory it has no intention of returning.
If you cache in db2 you get the luxury of this gluttony, with the latency disadvantage. Where as if you cache on the java side your forcing JVM's heap to manage that memory. Not getting into whether the gc was optimized for this caching

Ah thank god, prepared statements, the calling card of a competent developer. Performance would also be impacted if you let the driver handle preparedstatement pooling versus db2.

If it uses reflection and you call on functions that use reflection then performance was shot the moment it was prototyped. I think anything that involved Record, Field, or Bean uses reflection.

I could turn this into a java rant but its bloat is its biggest burden. Most microservices that require little computation really should just be in golang or rust.

So lately Japan has been clamping down on business investor visas due to massive fraud and abuse. The previous rules essentially let anyone who could form a Japanese company into Japan for 5M JPY ($31,000 USD) in capital. No Japanese skill was required. Neither was any formal education required, nor business plan review, nor any employees.

However, the Japanese government on 15 October 2025 decided to tighten up the requirements. (A) Now all of the above are required in addition to 30M JPY ($180,000 USD) in capital. JLPT N2 (upper intermediate Japanese) level is also required. After this change, there was a 96% drop in business manager visa applications from 1,700 per month to 70 per month. (A)

Predictably, the population group most affected by this change is Indians. The face of the movement against these new rules is Manish Kumar, who was forced to close his restaurant after 18 years and is returning to India (after 30 years) with his wife and two kids (A), who according to him can only speak Japanese, in tow. Why he wasn’t able to stay in Japan on a spousal visa or why he didn’t teach his kids how to speak English isn’t clear. But he and others in a similar situation are on their way out, and is a good example of how a few simple rule changes can deter this kind of visa abuse.
