Yeah, an Indian doesn't go around thinking about izzat 24/7 or wakes up thinking 'It's time for me to steal everyone else's izzat and preserve my own izzat'. it's more like honour culture is where an Indian's ideas of ethics and morality comes from. You don't have to believe in it as a formalized system or even think about the word izzat to behave like a honour/status obsessed goblin.
