After acknowledging that I was at the pickup, I was busy trying to figure out how to get the fuck out of the way asap (I even considered canceling when I realized how complex this one was going to be...) No sooner had I confirmed my arrival, these sub-humans started playing human tetris in my tiny car. Before I could even protest, they'd already forced 6 of their party (two of them children of about 10) into my car, sitting on laps and blocking my rear view, and were they were still trying to force even more in. When I told them to stop...
Uber is a shit employer (one of many reasons I quit) and if enough people complain about you, they *will* yell at you for it, even if you didn't actually do anything wrong. (One time I got yelled at for picking up a passenger in a different car than I had registered... Even though I had no other car, the passenger just made it up) Of note, I later learned that driving with so many passengers is HIGHLY illegal, and cops can and will pull over the driver for it, thankfully I got away with it that night.
As I was trying to get the fuck out of blocking the middle of the road (also very illegal), I reluctantly told them 6 max (For Uber it's supposed to be 4 max. There is a more expensive, "Uber XL" they *could* have ordered instead, but obviously that costs more money and why should they do that just for a safer more legal trip for them and their children? )
