I don’t see anything political in this movie’s marketing. Maybe I’m dense but where are they getting the idea that it’s liberals hunting conservatives?

So, in another time, I'd also say "calm down, it's just a movie". But it's not just a movie.
Funny you should say that. The same aforementioned production company made The Purge as well.
This makes me think of the Hostel movie.
I just can't deal with torture porn, rape, or anything where kids and animals are hurt.Lmao I remember when that shit came out. The outrage was glorious.
But people objected to so much before.
See:
The Exorcist
Psycho
Dirty Rotten Scoundrels
Kill Bill
Poltergeist
The Last Temptation of Christ
A Clockwork Orange
Crusing
From the trailer it seems that the hunted trump tards are rising up against da libtards and will win in the end. Seems like yet another plot to demonize the left and solidify the rights persecution complex. There is a thing called context. Movies have been violent for years and they've never affected anyone beyond their sensitivities. That's why we tell SJWs and feminist to STFU whenever they say "that movie is gonna make men to kill wahmen". Also, nobody every said "hey, do as the villain and go and kill people". It was more like "the events of this movie are wrong".
Alas, we now have not only people from the right being assaulted, but media and people involved with media cheering and encouraging pro-terrorist groups to behave violently against right wingers. And even if that didn't happen, remember these are the people who lives their lives according to what the things they consume tell them to do.
So, in another time, I'd also say "calm down, it's just a movie". But it's not just a movie. I'm not saying it should be censored, but at least, we can acknowledge how incredibly hypocrite this could be.
I'm still honestly not sure who this was marketed for. If I saw the plot for this at any other time I'd think "okay, they're making a parody of limousine liberals," but people on the right ( fux news mostly) are bitching about it, and retarded leftists are praising it? lolwut?I kept seeing this ad during the Democrat debates. I guess the producers and marketers of The Hunt knew what it's target audience was.
I just can't deal with torture porn, rape, or anything where kids and animals are hurt.
The Hunt looks like torture porn to me, I'll pass on it.
I'm gonna get super drunk and super stoned and watch this movie online without paying when it comes out.
