I'm coping and seething that Godzilla is basically a supporting character in these movies now and they aren't even bothering to pull from his roster anymore, but I guess with -1 actually being good I can just go back to Japan for my Godzilla fix and watch this if I want to see...big monkey punch other big monkey.

Really no idea why I have so much distaste for Kong. I love monkeys and apes.

I've noticed that since seeing and enjoying Minus One, plus how bad Monarch was, my interest in the new Legendary flick couldn't be lower

Would you want a cheap cheeseburger compared to a homecooked male made by a chef?
-1 ruined the Monsterverse for me TBH
I mean if I'm being honest, comparing Legendary-era Godzilla to Toho's own Minus One is basically comparing a fast food item from either McDonalds, Burger King, Subway, Taco Bell and/or Arby's to a very fancy five-star steak restaurant

I still want the new movie doing well enough to get some journos crying again about the lack of "correct" politics in a monster movie.
On one hand, I don't care about any of the unnecessary human scenes in the Monsterverse movies as they could've been used in different movies. On the other, I also want journos to cope and sneed like a wildfire

What you talking about nobody reads comics anymore. Bring on a Godzilla manga in the style of berserk already.
