The GMOD/SFM Splatoon / “SplatSource” Community - A cross between the Splatoon and Garry's Mod / SFM communities, with extreme autism involved
was there ever a splatoon clone even? the whole map painting angle as part of the score somewhat appeals to me, but i cant think of any other game that tried it and im never giving nintendont money for online or a game lol.

There was Foam Stars by Square Enix(iirc); instead of shooting ink to cover surfaces with it, you would shoot volumetric foam and bubbles. From what I remember, the game wasn't very well received due to microtransactions and the use of AI images for the in-universe band albums. It was available for PC and other platforms though.

Like other Splatoon drama groups of the past, Splat_Busted recently made a Discord server for the group itself (A), called "Syndicate Ink Busted". Coincidentally, there is a drama group from 2018 called Splat Syndicate, but I'm pretty sure no one in Syndicate Ink Busted was ever involved with or knows of Splat Syndicate.
Besides Twitter, the owner of the Splat_Busted account decided to promote it in various other Discord servers, including AnimeGirlSplats's public "therapy" Discord server. One of AnimeGirlSplats's defenders, Goob, makes a discovery that must have been very difficult to deduce.
Predictably, two of AnimeGirlSplats's defenders, G7 and Goob join to valiantly defend AnimeGirlSplats's honor (TBH mostly just the former), with very entertaining results. I'm almost convinced that G7 is probably some long-game troll because some of these responses are too ridiculous
This went on for 4 hours, most of which was more of the same, so you probably get the gist. They eventually both got banned, which leads to G7 demanding that Splat_Busted account owner get banned from AnimeGirlSplats's server, which she eventually obliges to.
Not content with running out Naufalam for the mere crime of owning a Discord server to talk about Splatoon drama, G7 gets really into the "protector" LARP and accuses someone else of being a spy for them because that person joined the Splat_Busted server. Fortunately for this person, G7's gambit seemingly failed.
I'm a little surprised this drama around AnimeGirlSplats is still going, somewhat harkens back to the older, more dumber (and thankfully less degenrate) Discord drama I've seen in this community in the past. I wonder how long "Syndicate Ink Busted" will last for, and if it will end due to burnout or if it will go the way of Team Downfall and die to internal drama. Only time will tell...
Goob very maturely starts crying about Acheron1400 (now Silver Wolf) calling him a baby (A), so he tells the people in the server not to like and subscribe to her because "she's the devil"
I’ve been hesitant to talk about this Goob person because as of writing this he's 17, but he's been the center of some minor drama related to some SplatSource people and something came up that I thought was funny. Due to his overreactions when it comes to any negative pushback and his support of AnimeGirlSplats, he’s been losing “friends” left and right. One of the ways he has tried to get them back (as soon as possible!) is to make an apology video. It’s been deleted but not only do I have a local archive, but Eternal Maxwell (someone very anti-AnimeGirlSplats) downloaded and reuploaded this apology.
Goob happens to mention his family. You know what happens when you speak of the devil, so on a post made by Silver Wolf (A, a 16-year-old who has been slapfighting with Goob over YouTube Community Posts), Goob’s older sister happened to comment on it. She also happened to comment on another post by Silver Wolf (A), and in both posts reveals the following:
Goob (unsurprisingly) has severe autism
They have no father
He’s gotten violent before with other family members, even including his older sister and his mom
The first comment actually has a lot of replies, which I have screenshotted (for the sake of archive everything) but only the first comment I find truly necessary to understand this.
And if you were wondering if that actually is his sister, he confirmed it himself (A).
I was somewhat surprised at Goob’s behavior at first, but upon hearing what his sister said (mainly the severe autism part) it honestly made sense. Frankly, I agree with Goob’s sister in that while Goob is definitely in the wrong, Silver Wolf didn’t really help things by constantly replying to Goob, and this sideshow probably would have ended sooner if one side (more likely Silver Wolf) just stopped responding to the other.
For something almost as autistic:
Some recent drama: Mr. Bubblegum (also known as Fenix5KapzVA or Mega Mattman, someone who I previously brought up for making exposés on Jacktropolis) recently made a tier list of SplatSource community members:
If I couldn’t recognize the name or find the person being talked about, I put it in quotes (with question marks if I really don’t know what Ghost115 said)

F: Heavy the Squid, Jacktropolis, VannaMontana106, JoeyFlyBoy, “SquidCo Engineer” (?), KalenSosa, “Tailsberg” (?), “Mustafa”, Octofox01
Unranked: AngelBylethSFM
Some observations:
70 in X tier, 47 in S+, 26 in S, 6 in A, 5 in B, 3 in C and D, and 9 in F
~42% of all people ranked are in the X tier
This is very obviously a "how much Ghost115 likes this person" tier list, exemplified by him putting LizzieRatcicle and his friends in X while putting the two people he threatened with his "army" in F
There is one person in the original massive list not ranked (AngelBylethSFM) because someone in chat asked Ghost115 to not rank AngelBylethSFM
Ghost115 has very repetitive reasoning for most of the S to X rankings (lots of "they're kind and friends with everybody")
If Ghost115 didn't know who the person was he'd just default to putting them in S or S+ tier
Someone is playing VRChat throughout this entire stream
Even considering that tier lists are usually just for fun, this one feels quite pointless, with the ridiculous amount of people in the highest tier and the weird ranking of others (Geofcraze634 in S? Ellie in the same tier as KiwiiZee? Heavy the Squid and Jacktropolis tied with two people whose only "crime" is exposing Ghost115's "childhood YouTuber"?). Maybe part of it is to avoid something like what happened between Mr. Bubblegum and AnimeGirlSplats, but outside of that I just feel like I wasted my time (at least more than usual regarding SplatSource drama).
If it covered Super Mario 64 machinima makers that's because one of the Lewd House participants, Geofcraze634, was part of that community
EDIT: was it this video lol? https://youtube.com/watch?v=nD4WppxAc2E
When talking about AxolLobsterLord section, he is relatively original, although two of the screenshots (Axol tweeting out that he's taking a nap at 52:10 and a scrolling screenshot of Tweets about Axol from 53:10-53:15) are taken from the OP.
0:06
However, the InkyxKitty section blatantly plagiarizes from the section on the OP dedicated to her, most obviously seen if you compare "his" screenshots (shown first) with the screenshots used in the OP (shown second). However, he doesn't just copy the screenshots; he also copies the wording as well! This first happens at the very beginning of her section at 53:23.
0:23
On May 19, 2020, early in the morning, just one day after Axol's death was announced, (...) now the post, supposedly written by InkyxKitty’s mother shared a link to a Google Doc, with a shocking message.
Early in the morning the next day, InkyxKitty’s mother supposedly went on to her Twitter account and tweeted out a link to a Google Doc, shockingly stating that InkyxKitty had committed suicide.
The screenshot of InkyxKitty's Tweet used at 53:32 looks quite similar to mine (although not exactly the same, but that can be explained with the filter used throughout his video).
This screenshot of InkyxKitty's Google Doc at 53:46 looks similar to mine, especially if you look at the margin near the word "my".
When he explains why InkyxKitty's mother supposedly making the Tweet and the Google Doc is suspicious at 54:01, he happens to use wording that is similar to mine.
0:19
But the way it was written immediately made some people pause. Instead of a direct Tweet, it redirected to a document filled with hashtags and even emojis in the sign-off, which felt out of place for something that serious. And the idea that a parent would quickly access their child's account and start posting online, instead of dealing with the immediate situation offline, didn't sit right with everyone reading it.
He mentions a "leaked Discord direct message" from her at 54:26, which is also how I described the same message that he's talking about (but doesn't show on screen for some reason)
0:08
And beyond those red flags, a leaked Discord direct message from InkyxKitty began circulating (...)
When discussing how the Inkyxkitty's Gmail was used to create the Google Doc at 54:34, the screenshot he used looks similar to the one I used (compare the margins near the blue underline underneath Activity)
At 54:40, he uses similar wording to the OP when talking about when she revealed it was fake and her bringing up AxolLobsterLord unprompted revealing her possible motivation for this.
0:42
Now on May 22, 2020, 3 days after the announcement, InkyxKitty actually returned to Twitter, and had posted that her mother had forced her to fake it for attention. (...) But then, without being asked InkyxKitty brought up Axol unprompted in her explanation, (...) now entirely making the connection hard to ignore. Just one day separated Axol's death from hers, and the community had watched AxolLobsterLord receive an outpouring of support before InkyxKitty made her own announcement.
Anyways (as you may have already guessed) it was fake. 3 days later, on May 22, 2020, InkyxKItty would tweet out that her mom forced her to do it for attention. She also brings up AxolLobsterLord unprompted, which kind of implies she did / was forced to do it as a result of the positive attention that AxolLobsterLord got.
When discussing InkyxKitty supposedly getting a death/rape threat at 55:22, again he uses very similar wording to the OP.
0:09
Though, InkyxKitty also posted a screenshot of a direct message from another Twitter account, telling her that she deserves to die and people should "do stuff" to her for faking her death.
When talking about InkyxKitty's poll about leaving and one of its replies starting at 57:35, he uses very similar wording, and the screenshot of the poll looks similar to mine (compare the margin near InkyxKitty's username). Also, when he is talking about the reply I think he showed the wrong Tweet (her original Twitter thread explaining herself instead of her actual reply to someone grilling her about her actions).
0:14
Now about a month later, InkyxKitty posted a poll asking her Twitter followers if she should leave the platform or stay, and the majority actually told her to leave. And when someone in the replies mentioned how she had faked her own death, InkyxKitty repeated her claim that her mother had forced her to do so.
One of the replies mentions that InkyxKitty faked her own death, to which InkyxKitty repeats her alibi that her mom forced her to fake a suicide announcement.
Admittedly, all of the above generally originate from videos made around the time it happened. so it theoretically could be possible that this is a massive coincidence and he just happened to use very similar wording and took his screenshots in a similar way. After all, there's only so many ways to describe the same drama, right? Well, yapmaster talks about InkyxKitty returning after a break starting at 57:50. While this was discussed in one of the contemporary(ish) drama videos, the wording he uses here is not only similar to the wording in the OP, but he used a screenshot of InkyxKitty's Tweet that I used in the OP.
0:11
Now InkyxKitty did eventually leave Twitter to take a break. But on July 29, 2020, she returned, announcing that she had been going for online therapy session and counseling, to come out as a non-binary lesbian.
At 16:21 he says Geofcraze634 was exposed for his foot fetish DMs in 2016; however he was exposed in 2019 (otherwise how did his 2018 DMs with Namisina46 get leaked two years before they would even occur?)
At 17:13 he says Heavy the Squid was exposed by Ellie in 2016, but he wasn't even exposed until mid 2017 at the earliest
At 19:48 he believed an obviously a fake screenshot made to meme on Geofcraze634, the text doesn't even line up in the same way the real apology he made does
At 21:33 he says Ellie was interviewed by MediExcalibur2012, but the interview he's talking about on screen is an interview between her and Cyndafan. I don't think MediExcalibur 2012 ever interviewed Ellie directly
At 22:18 he gets the chronological order of some Ellie Godelia Lewd House drama wrong
Ever since I saw that video, I didn't think this guy was worth listening to, but I remember thinking something like "At least he didn't plagiarize from me". I can't speak on the other stuff (mainly because I didn't bother to check) but this is pretty bad form (although not unusual for dramatubers to steal from Kiwi Farms without credit). I'd also argue that Lewd House should probably have been brought up (something from SplatSource more worthy of being called a "crime" than this stupid fake suicide inspired by a fake death). I guess on the bright side, my work is popular enough to be plagiarized?
This "suicide" is so absurd, I think it's some sort of vent art? He only "Did It In 'GMOD'" because of "Dark Negative Thoughts", and while he constantly tries to say that he never tried an attempt in real life, many of the people in his comments don't seem to see it that way.
Brandon Juarez TikTok archive
He barely gets attention on there, he posted the "GMOD suicide" posts on TikTok and didn't even crack triple-digit views on the "suicide" itself
Also, no wonder the hanging post said "Unhappy Birthday", it was posted on his 21st birthday, according to his YouTube (A):
