Forgot when I went to bed, but woke up at 4 am and just hanging out here until I feel sleepy again. Less back pain than yesterday morning though.
 
I've been battling tonsillitis since Wednesday. That's not really something you go for the doctor for these days, right? I read that doctors these days rarely recommend tonsil removal anymore. I just spilled DayQuil on me. I can't take the night stuff because it makes me sleep until noon.

A fucktillion of little birds visit my two little window feeders all day, every day. Their loud cheeping wakes me up in the morning, and then they get into bird fights over the sunflower seeds. Am I the only person in the student ghetto that feeds birds, explaining why they all congregate to this one place of free food?

Louis XVI? He was hardly a monster, in my opinion. Like Nicholas II, he inherited a brutal regime and just sort of floundered around until the day he was made to pay for the sins of that regime. I'm more baffled as to why someone would be so preoccupied with drawing erotica of a man mostly remembered to history for being a doofus.

My sister is one of those people who says "I literally could care less!" and I hate it. I know she's 17 and she's a smart girl and all but the way she talks can be very grating.

I spend a lot of time around her, and occasionally I find myself doing it too. This morning I caught myself saying "there's literally nothing to eat" and felt a strong urge to punch myself.
 
Just FYI, tomorrow I'll be leaving to be a Peace Corps volunteer with rage in West Africa. This means that I will likely be oblivious to all Chris news for a little over two years. Given that the past two years have included Chris burning down his house, being thrown in jail, going to a gay bar and threatening to dismember Sonic, I could scarcely guess what I'll be confronted with when I'm able to catch up.

It's also "couldn't" instead of "could". Could implies she cares a great deal about it and could care less about it.

Etc, etc.

$148 fine handwritten infringement notice for parking in a disabled spot today. It's not from the local police station and has a photograph as evidence (with the private parking sign just out of view). So I think a member of the public has reported me and shown the 'evidence'. However disabled or not, they shouldn't even have been thinking about parking there as its 'private land' and there is no agreement with the police or council to oversee it.
 
Feel like shit. Thought I had a cold, but just now it's gotten a lot worse. I spent all night coughing, I had to because I had so much phlegm in my throat that if I didn't, I was afraid I was going to start choking on it.then when that settled down, there was crud stuck to the back of my throat and I couldn't cough that up at all. When I thought I did, I slept for a lie while, then woke up and it was back. Think I might have gotten 2 hours of sleep.
 
I got a 20% off coupon to Bed Bath and Beyond, so I was looking through their catalogue at all the stupid shit I could buy and occupy myself with for an afternoon--and I found this classic board game with a zany new twist!
