So between watching the original trilogy, Rogue One, and The Last Jedi within the span of around a week and a half, I'm on a bit of a Star Wars kick right now. I was going to watch the Prequels since I've only ever seen Phantom Menace when I was sick as a child and even found them cheap at Walmart, but I was picking up some stuff for a party with my Mom who was looking for something to get me for Christmas. This was actually the day after I saw Last Jedi actually. So they're under the tree at my parent's place, and I decided to check out the Clone Wars cartoon I always avoided as a teenager (The sick kid me hated Phantom Menace and avoided the rest of the trilogy, I was like 10 at the time).
The cartoon is really good. Honestly, I'm liking Anakin in this so acting as supplementary materials it may make the Prequels go down easier. Or worse, if I end up wondering why the cartoon is that much better than the movie. We'll see.
It's often shitty, though, and just sets it to a fixed time. As the microwave ages, that means it will stop before the popcorn is popped. Unless it's a smart microwave with a humidity sensor, it's not guaranteed to do it right.
Starting today and lasting til the end of Christmas, I'm stuck babysitting two dogs for my sister's friends who are leaving the area to visit her. They had nobody else to dogsit and my sis thought of me. It's a little sad being away from family for Christmas, but at least I got a nice house and a tree to see for a few days.

Had a nice Christmas Eve today. While going to a Walmart, I came across a lost gift card left down a craft aisle, found out it had $50 on it, and used it on a few items I've been looking to get. It was a lucky break.
