I went to an anime convention that wasn't in New York for the first time this past weekend. I got to be away from my parents, possibly may have gotten a little further in flirting with a close friend of mine(i'm almost sure this went the other way too even if we didn't do it on purpose), and had a lot of fun taking my first road trip on my own.

I don't know why you say that this is a deficit nor that men are more impulsive. It seems to just be a different way that they get benefit from sex and different behaviour accordingly that is unlikely to lead to less benefit
I do not think that this seems to be impulsiveness either but rather a calculated strategy to maximize benefit while fully taking into account the situation. It is risk taking though if that's what you meant by impulsiveness as opposed to not thinking about one's actions
