BG3 deserves it. It's a strong contender for game of the decade. People hyperfocusing on the bear sex are missing that it's played up more as a joke than anything. That's part of the beauty of the game, the different dialog options actually do lead to different outcomes. It's not the illusion of choice where every option leads to the same outcome like many narrative focused games.

Spiderman 2 got absolutely shut out and it's not a suprise. Superhero fatigue is real with the collapse of the MCU and people are getting sick of Miles supplanting himself in every major spider story. Superheroes aren't going to be major draws anymore. That fad is finally passing.

I played a ways back before Inscryption was a thing, and I'm a bit torn on the sequel. The game's aesthetic seems good, and the mix of gamplay styles shown in the trailer seem like a natural evolution that will keep things varied. But if it's going to the same well of "the game is aware it's a game!" with meta bits like PI1 and Inscryption, I'm worried it'll be old hat by that point. Which makes me wonder what exactly it will be, as a sequel to a game about secret Nazi-Devil Arcade machines or whatever the fuck was the old plot. I guess it'll depend on whether Mullins can innovate beyond Inscryption the same way Inscryption went beyond Pony Island. But he's risking making his entire discography "meta-games" if he keeps up the trend. The Hex was okay, but it's definitely not something you want to repeat, either.

I don't worry too much on the "expanded lore" shared by all the games and will probably take it at face value. I have liked his stuff since it's plain neat, (though HEX was overstaying it's welcome at the end) and even if flawed, his games embody "project by a single nutcase and his weird ideas", so I tend to give it more leeway than I would other projects.

Basically, I'm not too worried if it falls again into the "spoopy game is more than it seems" again as long as it's entertaining and manages to fuck with me, I went completely blind into Inscryption and how Act 1 shifted into act 2 and later into 3 really took me for a spin. Also helps that inscryption has it's roguelike mode that I still boot up every once in a while, so if Pony Island 2 manages to have something like that as well, definitely more power to it.

A bigger worry, but it makes sense since it's a sequel to Pony Island, is that it ends up being mostly pseudo-programming logic puzzles, that's fine for a short thing like the original Pony Island but he really has to fuck with changing things up at consistent intervals if it expects it to be double/triple length than the original.

man, this was boring. atleast last year had its cringe moments and that Bill Clinton surprise. i made the right call going to bed, feels so refreshed instead of feeling like shit if i would stay up 5 am in the morning.

Monster hunter was cool since i got into World so i would gladly get into a monster hunter game in its release date.

Dragon ball tenkaichi 4 doesn't even look like tenkaichi. look like they used assets from Fighter z and Kakarot to make a cheap knock off. anyone wanna bet how many original dragon ball and Z characters will be cut for the sake of boosting supers popularity?

Re, fantasio looks interesting but i had no idea what the fuck was going on. everything looked so confusing. am i just getting too old for this shit? have to see more before i make a judgment.

the dis on Call of Duty and Activision was well deserved lol.
 
I just want to point out Kojima has always been a freak adding homo shit to his games.

MGS 2 - Vamp being bisexual and fucking Fortunes father just because.
MGS 3 - Establishing that Ocelot is gay for Big Boss
MGS4 - Raising a child with Otacon (okay, this one is a bit of a stretch, I may be forgetting something)
Peace Walker - Big Boss having sexual relations with both Paz (who he believes is underage) and Miller (so he's a homo and a pedo). Strangelove having a massive lesbian boner for The Boss.

Him adding a troon to his game shouldn't be a surprise.

Except that basically every dialog choice leads to every NPC party member wanting to boink you, from what I can tell.

You can have thirsty NPCs, you can have player-sexual NPCs, but NPCs are both thirsty and player-sexual, it just feels... weird. Like you're in a bad erotic fanfiction.

Don't get me wrong, it's a strong game overall, I don't hate it by any means. It's just that the complaints are a little deeper than "lol bear sex".

Nigger nothing's even been shown of it, not really. Remember the Death Stranding trailer just being naked Norman Reedus and the baby? That's from one cutscene in the game, and while the kid is a big part of the story for the most part it's just an item you carry with you.

That it was going to be an SJW trash fire decided to (begrudgingly) give their money to kojima instead. In most cases it wasnt because they wanted to play terrestrial traversal boredom sim though, it was because they wanted to stick it to neil breen.

And JUST based on the trailer, we can infer that:
a.) Kojima is producing another hack mo-cap game with a strong emphasis on his stupud, stupid fucking stories.
b.) Hes trying to appeal to the rainbow crowd by casting a tranny (and a fag?), which is never a sign that a piece of media can stand on its own merits.
