Basically says that the remake which was largely done by another company is a veiled threat towards bethesda by microsoft saying they need to get their shit together because we may be able to recreate how ES captures audiences without worrying about your inefficient company.

That's fucking retarded since the only reason anyone even likes the remake is because it's just oblivion. Being able to run an already made game through UE5 doesn't mean Microsoft could start making their own TES games.

Anvil is good with the port-line houses. Even the port is better than the impossible one in Imperial City.
Bravil is enough for a swamp-like city.
Leyawiin is consisted in reinforcing Imperial culture, that's why the houses are Cyrodilic rather beast.
Chorrol is good enough as Nibenasian-like.
Skingrad, same level as Chorrol but Colovian.

Basically this. I mean the second that they try to make their own IP in the form of starfield which also had microsoft backing it fails. Most of the staff who made the games that are largely praised are gone, Emil and Todd get to make all the radiant quests to their hearts' content. Microsoft is in the business of owning popular IPs that sell not creating a good Elder scrolls, doom, Halo, etc.

Don't forget bullying mod authors who consider making other provinces in Skyrim behind the scenes and using their Nexus moderator influence to actively undermine and get anyone who tries banned.

It's been a long time so I might not be one hundred on it, but a mod author was making his own new lands mods of Black Marsh, very rudimentary, that I think members of Beyond Skyrim at the time were very mad at because they felt like they had dibs on every other canon location in Tamriel, and got him in trouble with Nexus moderation to take down his mod.

I want to say it had something to do with him supposedly stealing assets from them or some shit? I don't remember if there was any legitimacy to those claims but even if there was fucking lol because assets never used in free mods might as well be put out in something so who gives a fuck?

Tamriel Rebuilt has a fucking repository where everyone can freely take and add assets with no issues. Skyrim modders are primadonna trannies though.

I want to add that it is somewhat telling that anyone who isn't under the Beyond Skyrim label seems to be making new lands in either totally OC areas or different dimensions of Tamriel. Guarantee if you were to put out a trailer of Skyrim : Hammerfell next week you'd be met with a suspicious amount of push back from Beyond Skyrim trannies.

Close, but some details are wrong. It was Valenwood, not Black Marsh, and the asset was a texture for a chair. The mod author removed the offending texture and he was still banned from Nexus. Then BS announced they were going to start work on Valenwood. ModCon is coming up in August so expect more teaser videos for shit that will never release. Has anything shown on ModCon streams ever been released?

He did both I'm pretty sure, in a very short time frame. They didn't have dungeons or quests or anything, just the worldspaces.

TR also has stuff to actually show for their work instead of vanishing into a black hole of never being released. I don't know why a modder would want to work on Beyond Skyrim just for their work to not amount to anything.

I remembered there was a mod by a different author that added Morrowind in a very basic state but it seems like it has been delisted as well now

Seems like there is another Morrowind project now though, but its dead.

Done with my first Remaster playthrough. Milked it dry. 170 hours, completed everything except Shivering Isles, which I didn't touch because I'm too fucking overpowered to have any fun anymore. Level 44, base 100 in every attribute except luck, only skills that aren't mastered are speechcraft, sneak, conjuration and light armor. Slept like 1700 hours, waited 0. Closed 60 Oblivion gates. Didn't fast travel once. I have a spell that boosts my speed to 250 and grants 100% chameleon for 60 seconds, I can jump off mountains and take maybe 10% of my health in damage, continously sprint across the entire fucking province (Anvil to Cheydinhal) in like 5 minutes, I can kill minotaur lords in three punches, not that it's even necessary because of a custom absorb health spell that drains like 400 hp, instantly deleting basically anything I come across.
Immediately began a new playthrough, this time doing a 180 and choosing a female spellcaster that goes to SI as soon as possible, forgoing all melee combat completely, with a self-imposed handicap of not running, ever, unless I absolutely have to. Maybe there's a mod that drains your fatigue while running, Morrowind style.
