Also, all are plagued by the competency crisis (someone should make a thread about this), not just lacking the ability to make anything truly new and ambitious, but also lacking the ability to maintain the standards of quality (or "quality") of their current cash crop franchises.
EA trying to force me to use their broken EA app to play the games I legally own on Steam makes so incredibly furious I can't put it into words. The trannies and pajeets they have to churn out code must be the absolute bottom of the tech sector. And these staggeringly incompetent mega faggots insist that we use their garbage software even though it either doesn't work properly or at all. They quite literally spend time and effort to patch out solutions people used to get around the stupid fucking app instead of fixing it. I hate them so fucking much it's unreal.

I give EA some credit for not sunsetting their game servers as quickly as 2K. Only bad thing I remember EA doing is their Online Pass system to circumvent used game sales. I'm glad that's gone. When I say "bad thing," I mean like something that EA has uniquely done.

Same with Rockstar and their asinine launcher that you're required to use even if you buy their games on Steam. Plus those games are linked to your Rockstar account and not Steam, so if you lose access to your Rockstar account even though you own the game on Steam then too bad, gotta buy it again. Rockstar has been going downhill for ages and I'm sure GTA VI is going to have a bunch of bullshit attached to it.

Even origin worked better than the EA app and that was a pile of shit aswell I'd just download all the games you have on ea app and find cracks for those games i guess.

Idk, Concord cost a lot of money. I think its generally true that they want to cut costs but there have been huge bombs like Concord that make me wander what the hell even happened.
Maybe its the greed that comes with projects such as lootbox and mmos that the potential return is so large that they will take a larger financial risk.

Or more likely poor management and finance that allows these peojecrs to fly completely under the radar and overbudget.

"Projects going over budget yet still remaining under the radar" is one of those phrases that really shouldn't need to be spoken, on account of sounding like some retarded prank. How is the management so skull-fuckingly incompetent that they fail to notice an entire stable of window lickers dropping their pants in preparation for a thermobaric turd about to hit the market?
Either they are complicit, or are such all-consuming black holes of failure that there is no functional difference. Remember, any sufficiently advanced stupidity is indistinguishable from malice.

Makes ya wonder: If all these triple A companies got taken out of the world, all their offices (and anyone who was in them at the time) teleported to Mars, what would it do to the gaming industry?

Electronic Arts Introduces EA Advertising, Launching Brands Directly Into Gameplay and Live Experiences

"Connecting brands to highly engaged audiences through an exclusive EA SPORTS Partner Program, in-game integrations, creative partnerships, and scalable advertising capabilities across EA’s global portfolio"

Have you ever thought, "I'd love to see ads in my games!"? Well, EA Advertising is here to help!

There's nothing better than seeing multi-billion dollar companies slowly filling games with their brands, because charging over a thousand dollars in Sims DLCs isn't enough. And remember, this is how it all begins!

The jeets are about to Redeem Obsidian and possibly parts of Bethesda.

They're about to shut down the shitty movie game studios like Compulsion Games and Ninja Theroy.

I'd figured that was a given since sports games already have product placement since the 2000s. Even in real life arenas. Even so, I want to see sportsball, not ads.
