The Disappearance of Gus Lamont - The strange case of the Australian 4yo with a tranny grandfather

The longer this case goes on the more people are protecting this family. Even people who dont even know them. How nice for them that you can just lose a kid and its no big deal!

The grandmother of missing boy Gus Lamont has waved a pump-action shotgun at a (female) Daily Mail reporter who enquired about the ongoing search for her grandson.

Very, very womanly reaction.

"I am prepared to kill you for this trivial offense," announced the person you should totally not be suspecting of being a murderer right now.

In short:

Shortly after missing boy Gus disappeared in outback SA on September 27, divers were called in to search dams on his family's property, one of which will now be drained.

Police say the dam is about four-and-a-half metres deep and is about 600 metres from the homestead.

What's next?

Police say draining it will allow a "comprehensive visual search" to be conducted, particularly in areas with submerged vegetation.

Work is underway to drain a dam on a South Australian outback property where missing boy Gus disappeared almost five weeks ago, in what police say is "out of an abundance of caution".

The dam, which is about four-and-a-half metres deep, has already been inspected by divers, but police said draining it would allow a "comprehensive visual search" to be conducted, particularly in areas with submerged vegetation.

"What we're doing is we're going back through every aspect of the search and we're just making sure that we are satisfied as much as we possibly can because there was water in the dam, it was felt that there was an opportunity now to drain the dam just out of a sense of thoroughness," Deputy Police Commissioner Linda Williams said on Friday morning.

Deputy Commissioner Williams said work to drain the dam would be completed on Friday, with the water expected to be drained into tanks and then returned to the dam at a later point.

The development is the latest move by authorities endeavouring to solve the more than month-long mystery of the four-year-old's disappearance, which has rocked the state and been described by its premier as "one of the more heartbreaking cases I can recall".

Police have said Gus was last seen playing at his family's vast and isolated sheep station, about 40 kilometres south of Yunta, about 5pm on Saturday, September 27.

The dam that will be drained is 600m from the station's homestead, police said.

ABC reporter George Yankovich said police vehicles could be seen moving into the property from Thursday afternoon in preparation for the dam draining at Yunta, where temperatures are expected to hover around the mid-20s for most of the day with low winds.

In the week following Gus's disappearance, extensive aerial and ground sweeps were conducted, and the initial phase of the search was estimated by police to have covered an area of 470 square kilometres.

As part of that effort, SA Police's water operations unit was called in to assist, and photos released by police at the time show searchers entering water on the property.

"Fortunately a lot of the dams are dry," Superintendent Mark Syrus, officer in charge of the Yorke and Mid North region, said on Monday, September 29.

"But the ones that have got some water in — we've brought up the water police just to go and actually search those dams and just discount them.

"Our understanding [is] he's not gravitated to water, but just for completeness sake, that's the only reason we're searching the dams and the rainwater tanks."

Days later, Superintendent Syrus provided an update on that part of the investigation.

"We have searched a number of water areas and the water police are still here, and they will be deployed if needed," he said on October 1.

Friday's renewed focus on what police described as the "large dam" near the homestead is being carried out "to rule out the possibility Gus may have drowned".

"The draining of the dam will enable a comprehensive visual search to be completed, particularly areas with underwater vegetation," police said in a statement.

Analysis of drone imagery and data that was collected several weeks ago during flyovers of the property has now been completed without identifying "any object of significance", police have said.

Police also said that "further aerial imaging" of an area up to 10 kilometres out from the homestead was still being conducted.

"This is being done in stages and will take several weeks to complete," police said.

Police said Gus's family were being "supported by a victim contact officer".

The total search operation so far has comprised several phases, including what police described as an "initial 10-day search" that involved Australian Defence Force members, State Emergency Service volunteers, local property owners and trackers.

About a week later, they launched another ground search that focused on a zone within 5.5km of the homestead.

That second effort, conducted over four days, ended a fortnight ago without answers.

Earlier this month, SA Police Commissioner Grant Stevens announced the creation of Task Force Horizon to continue to "investigate all of the circumstances" surrounding Gus's disappearance.

On Friday, Deputy Commissioner Williams said "significant resources" had been assigned to the case "from the very beginning".

"Every available resource, even those of the Australian Defence Force, were put into that initial search," she said.

"I don't think you could have had much more in terms of people on the ground or the aerial resources that we have used from across this country.

"It was the most significant search that was undertaken."

Deputy Commissioner Williams said the case "deserves an awful lot of attention in terms of the resources that are put to that search".

"This is a four-year-old. Four-year-olds don't pack up their bags and run away from home," she said.

"They don't seek to change their identity and they're not running away from the law ... so I think there's a massive difference between a child and an adult who goes missing, especially one who can't form an intent to run away."

Deputy Commissioner Williams said police would "adjust our resources as we need as we go forward".

"We'll continue to search for Gus for as long as it takes," she said.

As I was about to hit send, I saw an update from SAPOL. The dam has just been drained, and Gus wasn't in there. (A)

SAPOL dijo:
Police, with the assistance of SES, have drained and searched a dam on a property in the State’s Mid North, however, there has been no sign of missing four-year-old Gus.

Police, including Major Crime and Water Operations Unit, along with SES attended the property this morning.

The operation to drain the main dam into the southern dam commenced at 9.15am today. It took about three and a half hours to drain the large dam, pumping water at approximately 15,000 litres per minute. A total of 3.2 million litres of water was removed from the dam.

Police divers have thoroughly searched the main dam and the holding dam, including clearing of weed beds, however, there was nothing of significance found.

The 3.2 million litres of water was then pumped back into the dam, with very little loss of water in the process.

Police thank SES for their invaluable assistance in this operation.

Interesting to see what the Daily Mail reporter said about the police.

Seems like we're all on the money there.

It's so fucking sinister how trans are protected in this country. You cannot mention anywhere now that tranpa is trans despite it being fucking reported as fact or you face getting banned/censored. It's funny that they think this will protect trans perverts from being hated. Treating someone with an obvious sexual fetish like a protected species makes me want to vomit.

Got the funniest reply from a websleuths admin about why you cant even mention someone is trans on their forums.

Imagine being this fucking retarded.

Ill bet they're either a tranny themselves like most reddit mods or they transed their own kid.
Does Australia have its own version of the CRS "community relations service" that existed here in the USA?

Tranpa had a sexual emergency and the kid is dead. Police are likely to be conviently looking the other way so Australia can protect the feelings of troons as they literally destroy children for their sexual urges.

How do they know it has nothing to do with the crime? It could be a Mark Redwine situation where the kid laughs at him for the weird fetish and he kills him to shut him up. Like the Deception Detective says, everything's on the table until we can rule anything out.

They dont give a shit. It's all about protecting trans and turning them into deities.

And when they do get charged and convicted of a heinous crime they get included in the female stats and are sent to a women's prison despite retaining the criminal impulse of men (their levels of criminality don't go down when they start identifyinh as women) and having a penis.

Poor little lad. Tranpa looks like a wrong ‘un.
Can’t imagine telling people you do t want help searching - anyone who was innocent would be desperate and want every pair of eyes on it, even if they knew it’d be body retrieval. You’d just have to have that closure.
The way deviants have become a protected class is so disturbing.

When asked about the boy, tranpa says: "We're still looking for him, You can't help, we're still dealing with this." and has been declining help from volunteers in search efforts, also claiming that the family just wants to be left alone and to not show up to the property.
Yeahhhh that's the most suspicious shit I've ever heard. I bet tranpa has got something to do with it. Maybe he's schizophrenic and decided to hide him in the walls or some shit.

The Tranpa absolutely raped this poor girl and then drowned her (or possibly the other way around/drowned her while raping her). Trannies always have degenerate kinks like asphyxiation and shit. It should be legal to hunt them for sport.

Websleuths has been retarded for forever plus a day. There was this guy with a fake amnesia story who they decided to "help". Nurses, doctors, and even psychologists got banned for even suggesting that maybe his story wasn't true. They even had a fundraiser to buy this guy a laptop. This guy could remember how to drive a car and even how to fly a plane, but somehow couldn't remember anything else about his previous life or how he wound up in the desert outside Las Vegas.

Naturally it turned out he was a shitbag loser who grifted job training, a free apartment, the laptop, and was working on getting a free vacation to San Diego out of Websleuths users when he went on Unsolved Mysteries and was instantly recognized by his family. He continued the grift, though, even pretending he didn't know his own mother. A few days later, he was arrested for stealing a truckload of frozen food that he was supposed to deliver but never did. 3 days after he turned over the empty truck in Boise and was told by police he'd most likely be arrested in the near future, he was found in the desert outside Las Vegas claiming to remember nothing.

Websleuths has always been highly overrated.

It was a boy.

Rated autistic rather than disagree because you are spot on with the trans fetishes though. This is due to trans itself being a fetish, ergo a man who walks around living out their fetish is more likely to act upon their other fetishes.

That's what happens when you IP ban anyone with a functioning brain. It's just funny how they all get their orders from higher up. I cant help but picture one head troon social engineering the internet. It's just so comical how they all say the exact same thing. Meanwhile in the real world people know these guys are dangerous and hate them.
