Side note, do these people expect Toad to whip up a video about non-mukbanger drama 1 mere day after a 2hr session of having a seat? With his schedule? Or is it about NP2, then? Does one necessarily have to be in cahoots/sucking off Masterson on the daily to stay on there? So many questions!

Mint's got a FAS face, but apparently decent tits. If her boyfriend is willing to parade her body around in discord, then I wouldn't be surprised if he pimped her out to Dax.

I don't mean to say that any of the problems with financial deplatforming are unique to NP2, and I'm not trying to make the perfect the enemy of the good, but I do believe that some of the problems with NP2 predated this whole debacle. As PPP and Jim said in the earlier part of their stream, NP2 may not be the only game in town, but options and limitations differ from client to client. If NP2 were to go down for some reason, or Dick became convinced it was too much of a hassle, the implications would be different for someone like Josh than it would be for Toad Mckinley. I'm not talking about any collusion theory or anything here. I'm talking about a broader discussion of mitigating deplatforming online. I think there's a really important conversation to be had here about how to move forward skillfully rather than just haphazardly putting out fires as they spring up.

Of course, I know this isn't really the time or place to discuss this kind of thing, particularly what with everyone sperging out. The thought just occurred to me while I watched Josh answer some of PPP's concern trolling questions in chat earlier.

The biggest issue is that without going crypto, which keeps the normies out, everything eventually ties back to the monopoly of three(?) payment processors who tell paypal and patreon to march and jump. Even if Dax thinks he's found a bank with a spine, the processor can eventually play hardball and leave everyone twisting. Despite all the noise, him being allowed (and it is exactly that: being allowed) to stay up is because he's really quite insignificant. At some point, Dax will be told to throw somebody off and will either have to do it or shut it all down

A clean solution to this it to legally treat basic banking services that you can't get by without in this day and age as a public utility, because what business does some csr wine aunt across the country have deciding that what you want to pay for is inappropriate if it's within the bounds of the law. Never going to happen, because legislation doesn't work the way where government tells banks what to do

This is the first time I've seen the events to be recited as is, instead of hardcore cattling for daddy Dick. I guess the revolt happened at an unfortunate time where Dick was the undoubtable big man every little manlet wanted to be. If I waited for a couple months perhaps I would be hearing less of that "WHO ARE YOU TO DECIDE ON DICK'S BUSINESS PRACTICES YOU MONEY GRUBBING CUNT" petulance.

I was the least interested party in all that goss honestly. All I did was to talk to Had about how, from my distanced point of view, it was unfair for him to get shat on by the entire fandom. I didn't know he did more than just talking about the whole Mint Salad thing. For my year of service for TDS, I don't remember any other time where Dick would directly DM me about anything other than showing me screenshots from that conversation and asking me "Is this true you said this?!?!". Not saying he owed me conversations or anything, nor that's why I did art for him -- but when I brought up his negligence in efficiently running a creative team, I did consider that little detail.

All in all it was really interesting. Everyone turned on me so immediately (not surprising honestly, a lot of the fandom was only waiting for an opening because they just vehemently hate the weird genderswap Sonic porn thing) and they were so easily fed arguments by Dick, who resorted to quote-retweeting to make everything visible to his flying monkeys.
