So, I recently started to play some more multiplayer shooters again recently (Hell Let Loose, Rising Storm Vietnam) and have gotten to wonder, are there any good Gaming clans left?
When i used to play more vidya, maybe 5 - 7 years ago, I remember being able to shittalk with other players and generally have good fun in them, but now? I was recently automatically perma-banned in a round of HLL for calling some guy who was teamkilling half of our team on purpose a fag. On another occasion, I was perma-banned for calling the commander a "daft cunt" after he dropped the artillery on friendly positions. When i appealed the ban, they wanted to have my name and address so they "could make sure i wont act out again".

Are there any good clans left that aren't filled to the brim with powertripping jannies and extremely homosexual rulesets?

All the kids these days are talking about fortnite, but I'm still working for the weekends.

Nah. Whenever a community gets small, it fucking fills with power-trippers. While not directly a clan, old TTT servers became unbearable after the popularity died down.
You used to be able to shoot someone on suspicion. Now, that counts as RDM even if you're 100% correct that the fucker that's skulking around the map is a traitor. Hope you have your lawyer present to write your legal defense to the power-tripping admin. Now everyone is too piss scared to fire their gun lest they anger the admins so rounds last ten minutes longer than they should and are incredibly predictable.
Played in VR though where there's no admin role, just vote-kicking people with low karma. Much better experience.

rising storm 2 is pretty kino OP, trouble is the clans are pretty obnoxious, paid membership to essentially be a server personality to span the chat with overused memes is why i stick to the offical servers most the time. To be honest i never really thought much of clans outside of kids having the same gamertag as thier friends on xbox many fucking moons ago.

Did you try telling them that asking for a minors details might be a crime and you have contacted the alphabets

I think clans died as games switched to matchmaking, cause instead of playing with mostly the same players on the same server and getting a clear assessment of their skill and conduct and then maybe forming a clan together/joining their clan/inviting them to your clan, you play with randos that you'll most likely never see again.
