I wouldnt imagine that his "This week in DSP" vids get much money (if they even do at all). @LyteSydeByll for the most part does re-streams with doggo, and his own personal game playthroughs.

BTW, @Memology 101 's numbers are inflated, due to the fact that he stopped focusing on DSP for the most part and moved on to other subjects. (E.G. exploded during the "Better Help" fiasco).

That and he's Mexican.

Yeah I was originally going to use that list, but then figured I'd start adding up everyone so I just said screw it, I'll do it by search and total views. Forgot about Vault Boy and LyteSydeByll, which is weird because they pop up often when I'm watching random detractor vids in the bg
 
@That Hedonist Nerd It's been bugging me for a while now - how did LudwigWorldOrder not make your list in the OP?
He literally provided the intro for Vault Boy, which I'm pretty sure Vault Boy shamelessly stole from one of Ludwig's old videos without his consent. Ludwig is one of the most talented editors out of all the people you listed, and he's been going under the radar for quite some time now (hence why he's got less than 4k subs on YT).
People don't see LWO's genius, even if it smacked them in the face. Smh.

Social Blade's monetary estimates are so inaccurate, they aren't even worth looking at.
That said, personally I like things better this way that there's no shame in making money off fatty unlike when the SoK was around and many were worrying about those twats summoning the detractor horde on them.

Yeah, that segment starting at 6:24 is definitely a clip I made - I guess the screen shake is a dead giveaway. And it seems like he also used the screenshot of the chat I used in my post.

With that said: I don't really care, though. Shit I post here is pretty much up for grabs, since I don't own the rights or anything and it's just me documenting stuff on a public forum. If it's not happening structurally to the point where someone's constantly taking all clips and such and copy them word for word, I don't have a problem with it.
Not saying that it wouldn't be nice if the person in question dropped at link to my channel in the description under their Youtube video or something, but aside from that; meh. From time to time people ask me if they could use some of my stuff, to which I always answer with 'Of course!", so yeah, not that big of a deal.

I don't know if Soma knows I sometimes make Youtube videos myself - well, I guess he kinda has to know, because he seems to be using the DSP forums for content, lol - but I'll shoot him a message on Youtube letting him know. It's up to him to do something with that info or not.

-EDIT- this was not in the PM, but I also want to make clear that I don't monetize any of my videos on Youtube.

-EDIT2- Okay, I'm a boomer, because I just found out Youtube doesn't have a private message system anymore. I don't have Twitter, so I guess Soma will have to find out by reading this post. Which will probably happen anyway, from the looks of it. :tomgirl:

I don't think 'estimates' is a good word to describe the earning potentials they display as they aren't based on any channel metrics or if most of your videos get hit with 'not advertiser friendly' etc. . .it's just a range based on dividing the raw views by 1,000 then the low end number is (raw views÷1,000)×$0.25 and the high end is (raw views÷1,000)×$4.
The 'yearly earnings' isn't based on any kind of channel metrics, it's just another simple equation that takes your raw views from the last 30 days divided by 1,000 and multiplies it by the same $0.25 - $4 range and then multiplies that by 12 to spit out a 'yearly' number.
It's possible to make a higher CPM than $4 and one guy I know has a channel that regularly gets 2 million views a month and makes a $0.10 CPM average because YouTube blacklisted his channel like 3 years ago.
Social Blade is extremely simplistic, but for raw views and subscriber counts it's useful.
