"No really. Orange man is bad and all of the worst people in the world are good. Trust us." - Showtime leftists who thought this was a good idea.

Última edición:
Oh god, they're really out of ideas. They're really trying to get some lefty shekles. No one is going to like this but every celebrity involved is going to suck themself off about it.
It could be an excellent piece of media regardless of where you fall on the political spectrum. The person they picked to depict the president is surprisingly good.

@Defend This should be in the Multimedia board. You can also embed videos as well.

I don't know how to embed videos. Do I look Indian to you? Do I smell like curry? I'm not in I.T.

Edit: I figured it out. I guess I better open a 7-11.

In your toolbar there is an icon that is comprised of three dots and a downward facing arrow. The first option, Media, is the one you want to use.

I see Jeff Daniel's and I'm already getting NewsRoom flashbacks even though that was HBO.

NewsRoom sucked you in with a good first 2 episodes and then the rest was bad.

It's also a topic that's so tonally polarizing that is going to be very difficult to capture. The trailer looks like it's taking itself way too seriously.

Nah, it really doesn't look good after Clinesmith's guilty plea and especially Yates' testimony on Comey's behavior and the FBI's failings.

I'm surprised they didn't give Brendan Gleeson an orange spray tan, but they seemed to exaggerate Trump's accent, as they usually do with politician's voices they don't like. This a film they want people to treat seriously, I presume, not a 2-hour SNL sketch.

It’s even worse when the movie is adapting a book from a man who is under investigation.

Even ignoring the politics, this feels like every other generic biography movie about exposing corruption.

This is, what, the 4th or 5th “lol let’s make a show/cable movie that tries to make the President look super evil/stupid/whatever” so far? I’m sure it’ll do as good as the others. Remember that cartoon Colbert was making?

Not much of a show if we know the ending.
Is this one written by Aaron sorkin too? Mr "The American Taliban" usually takes care of the TV Drama revisionism.
Remember when the left used to scream about the Tea Party and protesters cleaned up the streets when they were finished instead of leaving them on fire?
Things truly were better under the Democrats.

We saw it on the news not too long ago.
Everybody still remembers this shit and the real thing was a lot more interesting.
At least wait a decade.

Waiting would have been prudent given that there are investigations going on that could implicate Comey. Of course they live in an absolute fantasy world so...

Okay, after finally watching the trailer, I have two questions:
  1. There's that guy from the US version of House of Cards who played Frank's loyal aide and partner-in-crime. Casting that guy means business, I guess. But why is he playing a good guy now?
  2. While this is obviously highly fictionalized account of the events, couldn't this still be grounds for libel? Drumpo Trumpo being the most public of public figures aside, this is still calling him every kind of white collar criminal on national TV.
  3. Actually, three: what the fuck do they hope to achieve by this?

Isn't Comey a fucking incompetent failure that got lead on by the fake Steele Dossier which was pure fucking fiction and then wasted 2 years trying to find a connection between Russia and the President, and he couldn't find jack shit? Wasting everyone's time and tax dollars?

HERO FOR THE AGES.

(While Obama illegally wiretapped Trump's campaign offices. Everyone forgets that)
