Honestly if I could get any pet right now it'd be a bird.
Don't know what kind, but I certainly think it'd be nice.
 
Saw a peregrine hunting pigeons the other day. If you've never seen a peregrine hunt they fly up high and accelerate to unreasonable speeds (between 200 and 250mph) and rely on the fact that they hit the unfortunate pigeons hard and fast enough to instantly kill them. It's like watching an F16 ramming a light aircraft except after the explosion (which is feathers in the peregrine's case) the F16 has the light plane skewered on its nose.

I love Waxwings. The colour on the tips of their wings is actually a wax accumulation. Way more pretty than ear wax, that's for sure.

I'm honestly not correcting you to be a douche but it's not actual wax. It's simply because of its resemblance in colour to sealing wax.
