I like to leave the door open (with screen door closed), so doves can watch me doing people stuff.

So far, this has not scared the doves away (it's a dove couple who trade places now and then BTW).

The dove nest is completely empty. No eggs, no doves. Just that crude bowl made of sticks.

Hopefully nothing bad happened, like a predator getting to it, or some other bad reason...

The king parrots have returned. Winter's coming and it's getting frosty

Im starting to get a little worried about the high number of Cow Birds at my house now. While I like their singing, their parasitic nesting has me worried about all of my other beloved wild birds. Does anyone have any advise on this? I may try and shoot a few of them.

Also I love watching the humming birds but I just am always surprised about how mean they are to each other.
