The Batman (2022, formerly June 25, 2021) - No, not that cartoon

I'm just surprised they were wiling to take a chance with a live action riddler again. Sure batman forever was no where as big a disasterpiece as batman and Robin, but it was still a departure from the dark and complex takes he prior films took.

If they do end up making a sequel to this I want it to be about scraecrow. I'm so fucking tired of the clown.
Sequel is already confirmed, but god I agree. I'd be disappointed if Joker was the main villain. I'd rather he play a role like the Penguin (just more of a side role) if the WB execs want him in.

The Riddler's supposed to be the "wrong kind" of person mad at the elites but his livestreams weren't him calling a bunch of corrupt rich people pedophiles, 0/10 unbased and unrealistic.
It's a mainstream media capeshit movie pit out by one of the biggest multi media companies in the world what did you expect?

As good as joker was (albeit a little overrated) it really was lightning in a bottle that really should be the clown prince's last major role in something for a while. Let him take some time off for once.

I agree.

A lot of DC & Marvel villains are overrated, Green Goblin, Lex Luthor, Joker, Darkseid, Ultron, etc.

There are a lot of underrated villains, DC & Marvel could use if they had the right writers.

Dude, just watched this movie. Who the fuck thought this was good?

Fucking cringey Hannibal Lector wannabe villain that comes across as a drama kid trying to be edgy. Zoe Kravitz talking about how white people need to die (and it being so predictably milquetoast I was more angry at how fucking bored I felt than the forced "KILL THA CRACKAS WE WUZ KANGZ" messaging). Robert Patterson coming across more as an emo than Bruce Wayne. Plus it is fucking long and boring and doesn't know when to fucking end.

I would prefer to watch Batman & Robin then watch this shit again. How the fuck did this movie get good reviews?
