Saw barely any bakeries selling fresh baked goods, be it bread, bread rolls or even pastries,
Where in the hell did you go to? I live in the backwoods in North Ga and we have 4 bakeries that deal in things like breads and begals, 2 that specialize in sweets, 1 Asian bakery, atleast 3 Mexican bakeries and a freaking bakery for PETS!
Dairy products are rare. Talking yoghurts and stuff.
This is the yogurt isle in walmart. It really all depends on where you go

Most of the stores I go to have tons of yogurt. And here I prefer plain with banana slices. Some stores just have less of a certain product than you'd expect. If it's a smaller store their dairy section may be more centered on milk and butter with like three yogurt flavors. But big stores usually have a decent variety.
