I am curious whether the rumors regarding staff and voice actor conflicts are accurate. The portrayal of Zooble as the tranny character seemed diminished in the finale, and there may have been a retcon suggesting a lesbian identity at the end. Additionally, Ashley Nichols uses they/them pronouns but generally tends to avoid involvement in workplace conflicts and fandom dramas. Which is rare nowadays. At least with the TADC fandom. Maybe it’s because Ashley Nichols appear to be the most normal before getting casted in major roles for a THEY/THEM.

I only saw the first few episodes through Null/Kino Casino and haven't seen the rest of the series.

I thought Jax was an asshole and never understood why people liked him. To be honest, watching the finale only makes it harder for me to understand.
He goes from being an actually nice character who has friends to treating them like absolute garbage for no reason, to the point that they end up committing suicide.
And instead of realizing the error of his ways after the first or second time, he doubles and triples down, continuing to treat the entire cast even worse.
There are no redeeming qualities. He even demonstrates this in how he reacts after other people abstract, he only gets worse and worse.

How is he not the villain of the story?
I genuinely don't understand. I feel like I watched a completely different show from these retards.

Like, if he wasn't such a dick, the entire show wouldn't have gone the way it did. He is literally the reason the story ends up the way it does.
You could honestly just make the story about Caine coming to terms with the fact that these are actual humans and not just toys for him to play with. Basically take his five-minute arc from the finale and make that the focus. That would've been way more interesting.
Hell you can even keep all the other character development as side-story stuff.

This show is overrated as hell but what a waste of talent. The visuals and animation are fantastic, the character designs are good, and whenever Jax isn't on screen there's actually some potential for a decent baby's first I have no mouth and I must scream.

I think what happens is they are other kinning as Jax, then they saw I Saw The TV Glow (which is about a black guy regretting not trooning out because of a TV show) so the retard was already primed to troon out, then when Jax trooned out in episode 9 they took it as a sign from God and officially trooned out.

The biggest hole I already brought up a few times is with the brain scan twist BS it makes their Ai development that led to caine who went rogue and hijacked/ made the circus VR game out of the idea program they were supposedly making redundant. Them not being there could also literally be explained as "the building isn't actually abandoned" which would explain why the office that's supposedly been empty for decades is still pristine with the lights on and not filled with mold and meth hobos.

EDIT: I think someone else already pointed this out but this is just reminding me how the final IRL shot of episode 9 is live action and not animated like every other appearance of the IRL stuff outside the jax REALISTIC PANIC ATTACK driving bit that implied he ran someone over in his car that went nowhere.
