This is true. Honestly, the additional bonus art GW put out makes the whole piece feel more like the Amazing Digital Suicide Letter. GW is Jax and Jax is such an awful person that the world is better off without him. Even in the Good ending the people who showed the most love to him should be off fucking each other and not him.
This is how Cooper writes about himself. Probably going to 41% in a few years, despite the success because it never fills the emotional hole.

Because Pomni is the audience stand-in and we have to learn shit alongside her. And by "we" I don't just mean the viewers, I'm also referring to the other characters who should logically know more than they actually do but either shit themselves or are too busy trauma dumping on each other when the situation calls for it. That's why Pomni picks up on Kinger unretarding in the dark three episodes before Ragatha does (and five before the rest of the cast does) despite the former being the most recent arrival and the latter having spent the longest in the circus out of the current group besides only Kinger himself.

With the recent TADC movie being watched by all, a lot of people have very, very mixed opinions about it.
Including Stonetoss, who not only points out that this movie is nothing more than being one long-ass therapy session, but it doesn't help that Goosework basically tried to justify why it's okay for a trans person, who was the biggest asshole in the group, but it turns out they wanted to kill themselves.
Which, considering the suicide statistics and school shootings rising, which usally involve someone wanting to cut their dick off. It isn't that surprising it would turn out this badly.

What's worst of all to me is there is no real conclusion to this. "They're brainscans." Okay, and? There's no conclusion to their story arcs. I don't care that they're brainscans, the important part is that I want to know what they do to fix the predicaments they're in. Instead of fixing anything, they put their dead friends' bodies in an aquarium (???? Why? What does this possibly represent about suicide?) and just go on living like nothing happened, trapped forever, and doomed to eventually kill themselves too, or be killed when whatever digital world they're trapped in no longer has electricity?
It's got the hallmarks of some of the most rushed, bullshit endings in all of fiction, and it will go down in history as genuinely a TERRIBLE ending to a franchise that people had high hopes for. Bravo, tranny. Abstract yourself.
