Add YIIK to the list of things the creator copied. The Jax's mind palace with the doors and a aspect of their personality behind each of them instantly reminded me of the level from YIIK where you go into the asian girl's mind and need to go though doors to gather all the aspects of her personality.


Edit: The POV sexual tension with the frog is making me uncomfortable.

It isn't so much "jax is trans" as "the most popular characters is trans". Thats what the whole show was built up to. Wonder why the first three episodes are just the same episode over and over again, and the show only picks ups AFTER the popularity poll? Because they were waiting to see who the fan favorite was and rewrite the show to make them trans. Pomni should thank her lucky stars that jax won by like 5 votes.

Also, aren't there stats that most body dysmorphic teens grow out of it? Leeroy or whatever his name is is clearly still a man and referred to as such irl as an adult. I wonder what Cooper meant by this :thinking:

Even the most homophobic parent doesn’t laugh at their children saying they are gay. Shock or even anger is more common.

Jax: Mom I am bi
Mom: What’s that?

None of these seem comedic . Except one

Tall emo guy with a huge chin, says

Jax: “Mom, I need to confess you something. I am actually a girl. You have a daughter, now.”

Now…that is something a mother might laugh at. She has known him all his life, and he has always acted like a guy, and then Jax says this?

She laughed, because either she thought his “confession” was a joke, or because an obviously masculine dude she has known all her life says she is a girl all of sudden.

It’s the only thing that fits.

What I don't get out of 'Jax is trans' is that it's shown the Amazing Digital Brain Scanners™️ are able to map out a persons personality and some of the more 'buried' hidden nooks and crannies. It would physically be impossible in my eyes or from the explanation the Circus has given that someone could 'transition' within the Circus. Even Zooble the non-binary whatever shit is still female-coded, the fact that all the lousy Xitter niggers make her and Gangle a yuri ship is basically confirmation that you can't transition within the Circus.
Which means either Jax isn't trans, or Jax being able to 'transition' isn't possible without it being a bug or a glitch of sorts.

I heavily disagree that the show was really leading up to Jax being trans, the first half looked nothing like the second half, Jax's core issues could have been nothing to do with his sexuality at all and barely anything would change except for that scene with ribbit.

It was a stupid fucking reveal anyway, all that setup, all that conflict, all that drama just to end with the reveal being "I just wanna be a widdle girl :(".

How anti-climactic, just like everything else in this show.

Yeah, thats what I mean, the reason the second half feels unfinished is because they waited until the fan favorite was known and rushed the ending to make them trans. Each of the characters almost seem written exclusively for plausible deniability. Zooble is obvious, gangle covers up the face she was born with because she hates it, ragatha literally has the same back story as jax, caine was built to be one thing but cant figure out the social norms, etc.

Its clear the entire show was made to be a rug pull from the very beginning. I expect Cooper's new animal fucking cartoon to be the same way.

If you pretend really hard that a description of RAID is a hard scifi world description then you have a cooler world and potential for tension than Goose.

I wonder if the brain scans thing was retroactive, too

In the first episode when pomni shows up, Caine says "another human has entered this realm" with a sense of surprise, but the ending establishes that he's the one that brings them in.
