This isn't even getting into how the inside of the little tent thing has windows when they're in it
Did they literally reconstruct the entire fucking map each time they made an episode? Like this isn't even the only instance of this these are just the widest shots.
I only tried that game briefly in 2018, is there any hard reason why player models need to have the same tall height and proportions?
Quake 3 lets you play as any character regardless of their physique, this includes regular humans, cyborg skaters, eyeballs on four legs, and if we include mods, the players can be a quarter of the usual height. And the game is still perfectly playable despite that. Unreal Tournament '99 also does this, because you can play as a human, an alien with four arms, and a fricking xeno cow with a gun strapped to its back. And I presume the mods get even crazier. I know that nowadays, models have to be tied to a rigged skeleton, but I believe it's a limitation that can be overcome.
In other words, if someone made a playermodel pack for Q3 or UT99 where the TADC cast looks exactly like it does in the show, the game would still be perfecly playable. Why wouldn't that be the case with 4tnite?
Every model in the game has the same hitbox for balance reasons. Battle royale is a PVP game and the skins are monetary purchase only nowadays so it's basically to keep it from becoming a pay to win situation. The "sweats" infamously always pick the skins they jerk it to with the excuse of "oh the hitbox is smaller" but that's been debunked countless times.
The pomni joke there is specifically tied to people online hypothesizing various popular characters (including pomni) as fortnite skins and going "they'd be too short" and other people pointing out you can just stretch the proportions slightly on any character to fit the player model.

To be fair, a 'pilot episode' is exactly that, pretty much a proof of concept. It's not at all surprising that eps 2-9 have a different look, they were rendered in a different engine with higher resolution and colour depth since they now had real money to produce a real show. They would pretty much HAVE to re-design the interior of the Big Top.
Inconsistencies between eps 2-9 are a better target for this arguement.

There is a noticeable Jump in quality from the pilot once they realized they have a hit on their hands and dump more resources into it redoing a lot of the assets. Have you tried comparing the scenes from other episodes to see where they fit in the main area or are they just isolated sets.
A bunch of untalented at best, mentally ill at worst, hacks being pushed by big corporations to get shekels from their niggercattle fans. What's the difference?
