The Amazing Digital Circus - Western Isekai that probably will become Hazbin Hotel killer

The first screenings happening at 11am EST globally and 1pm nationally. Place your bets, gentlemen! Which one do you expect to happen?

🌈End = The entire leaked finale was fake and part of an edgy publicity stunt. The movie is mostly or completely different, and Goose is enshrined into the halls of history as a chaotic artistic visionary on the level of Andy Kaufman.
Odds: 100-1

"Well, It's Possible" End = The leak was real, but the cut was early enough that the movie is noticeably different (for better or worse) and Goose retires peacefully to a life of skeeting and weirdo fetish porn.
Odds: 10-1

"It's Probably This" End = The leak was real, and the final cut isn't significantly different. Lots of internet fights and drama follows (at least, more than enough from the other endings to warrant mentioning.) Goose crashes out again but the amount of merch money pays enough for medical marijuana and Gatcha Game pulls to keep them from abstracting.
Odds: 1-1

"Wacky World" End = Some insane drama happens related to TADC that is so crazy it completely overshadows the film entirely.
Odds: 6-7

Place your bets now. We accept cash, crypto and WoW gold. No V-Bucks or I'm reporting you for underage.

Gonna watch it in theatres today! I mean I’ve already been spoiled but idrc, I still just wanna see it and want to hang out with friends at a movie theatre. Will post my thoughts if I don’t forget!

My money is that the leak is real but the most vocal parts of the Fandom will call it genius and praise it at first drowning all the negative opinions

Reddit will love it and even call it "mature" and "realistic." Expect fanart in honor of Jax. I lean towards kids being disappointed on the other hand.

Will take a few days before we know the consensus.

WHY IS THERE SO MUCH AUTISTIC YELLING AT THE END OF THESE TROON TADC ESSAYS??? Is this the zoomer equivalent of the "angry videogame reviewer inspired by AVGN"?? Who started this!?
The video is an entire parade of excuses to get to the part where the creator can yell about their opinions loudly without anyone canceling them because they wrote a whole 15 minute prelude beforehand so no one fan misunderstand or cancel them. Traditionally yelling is done as a kind of a climax, payoff to a build up, thus the ending of the essay with it, but not with these guys.

Think of it this way:
>Start by yelling
>Youtube comments yell back without going past the 2 minute mark

>Start by being placid and building up 50 excuses to your yelling
>Youtube comments either wait and have to abide by how you said all the conditionals beforehand so they're less rowdy OR just move on to yell at someone actually angry

Reactions are starting to pop up searching TADC on twitter

I agree. Reddit is wired in a way that everyone understands what "correct opinion" to have in order to be seen as a "good person." Whether the person stating the opinion actually believes it doesn't matter, as long as the "correct" opinion is publicly stated.

The "right thing to do" when the leaks dropped was to not watch it. So, the fans who did watch it were lowkey seen as someone who did something bad or naughty. But because of that, they were fans who felt free to express exactly what they thought about it. Which was overwhelmingly negative.

They didn't go out and pay money to see it, so there was less sunk cost fallacy. They weren't swayed by crowds of fans, they were likely by themselves or with a friend watching it, giving them space to form their own genuine opinion on it. They were already doing something "bad" by watching the leaks, so there was less incentive to posture around like a good, obedient fan who would never look at leaks and never disobey Gooseworx.

Most people who haven't seen it are the "good people", the obedient, those who haven't watched the leaks (or those who have but want to be "good" so they say they haven't seen the leaks). They know the pre-approved correct opinion to have on the last episode even before they watch it: That is was good. Brilliant, even. Bittersweet, satisfying, and complex.

There will be people who genuinely thought it was okay. But most people will dislike it because it's fundamentally lazy and poorly written. I agree that the initial response (only in places heavily moderated like Reddit where people learn quickly what the pre-approved "correct" opinions are on literally anything) will be that it was either mid, good, or fantastic. There will be the "bad people" who are "filled with hate" who disliked the last episode as well, but they will be drowned out by the initial wave of toxic positivity and cope.

But after the hype has died down, more true feelings will come out. After people's hyper fixation, sunk costs, and attachment to something that once looked so good has time to settle.

The episode before the final one is genuinely so much higher effort in it's writing it's ridiculous that episode 9 did the bullshit it did.

I just got reminded again how the teaser for episode 8 is literally something that happens in the episode offscreen in a way that you can literally line up in the dead space.

spisode 9 with it "nothing matter all plot hints no matter they brain scan ai clone so we can have infinite slop sequels if we want but hey the humans are ok in the real world!" would never do shit this clever. All those teasers involving jax taking over shit when that doesn't even fucking happen really shows it.

After watching episodes 1-8 with Jersh and PPP, I genuinely don't get the popularity at all. "Babies First I Have No Mouth" is the absolute kindest interpertation I can give.

Your main antagonist is just an insecure retard AI that does fuck all up until the very end, to the point it genuinely feels like Caine going "evil" was never actually planned. He was never actually established as the "antagonist" because he did fucking NOTHING of matter in the plot, besides sending the cast on filler adventures. That's it. Then suddenly "reeeee they no likey me, ME GAWD NOW!"

None of the characters have developed or changed since the start, and the only character to have any "character" at all is fucking Kinger, but beyond his dead wife and psychosis, he's little more than a fucking plot device. The only character with any real depth, and hes ends up being more object than character because this tranny faggot can't write for shit. They sure talk about their feelings a lot, but none of them grow from it in the slightest and they're still the exact same fucking character they were in the last episode, even if the previous was "their" episode. Pomni is still a nothing character, Jax is still an insufferable prick, Gangle is still a whiney hyper-emotional faggot, Kinger is still broken, Ragattha is still the exact same as she was from the start, and Zoobul is still a god awful do-nothing worthless tranny stand-in that added absolutely NOTHING to the series WHATSOEVER.

Nothing actually happens in this series right up until the last 2 fucking episode, and that entire plot line should of been gone over since the first few episodes. Caine should of been a genuine threat to begin with and all the "happy go lucky feels" bullshit in what is supposed to be "existential horror" is so fucking tranny coded that its puke inducing. Where the fuck is the "horror" element? Where the fuck are questions like "if the circus is a simulation, what if the world outside it is too"? The actual unraveling of a mind put in this situation, not "oh man I just can't take it, boop, I'm an abstraction now, teehee" or another shot of Jax beathing heavy with skwiggle eyes and images flashing that mean fucking nothing to the audience? Anything beyond "muh feels, muh feels, MUH FUCKIN' FEELS!"?

I tried to go into this with an open mind. Now I just hate trannies and the normies who enable this fucking dogshit more.

I know it was hard to focus through PPP dying but If you paid attention Caine (mouth guy) actually gets more pissed off throughout the series at how nobody wants to put up with his shit and it's established episode 1 that he's literally been keeping people trapped in a VR simulation world because he wants to entertain humans who just want to fucking go home. The crashout in 8 is a little rushed feeling but it's also clearly so they can have an episode that's him basically just intentionally being an asshole instead of "why don't you find the things I make for you cool?" kind of character. The show was always more wacky comedy referencing a thing structurally than horror knockoff of it no matter what the reddit people say. These are the people who based the "nothing is real" theories off stupid throwaway joke lines that were callbacks to earlier gags like caine going "I didn't know you could do that!" to jax who literally did the same thing before like once or twice already.

The ending situation to this is like the opposite of the Mike situation in Deltarune. It threw out what was already built up to do a last minute cop out based on some really flakey ass video essayist takes instead of making jokes about the video essayist shit and doing something completely different as the actual thing.

@Nick Gars
Aside from just being goonerbait, a big part of it is just mystery box writing + the constant stream of emotionally manipulative therapy scenes appealing to the SSRI-ed goon zombies. The one "success" of the "writing" for this series was that it intentionally parallels isekai ("trapped in another world/video game) tropes popular in weebshit media which are ubiquitous in anime but not all that common in western media, so there was a built-in audience who would show up for that alone. Then they dangled the idea of "escaping the circus" from the pilot episode and that kept people coming back in spite of getting bamboozled over and over again by JJ Abrams and incompetent Japanese writers for going on decades now.

I guess the rest of us were here for the trainwreck. Years of stringing along redditors while milking them dry with endless merch drops has culminated in tonight's release, and I'm hopeful we'll see some genuinely funny chimpouts over the way the final completely fumbles any kind of satisfying conclusion. Once the coping ends I think some of these people will be destroyed over some of the things that were in the Portuguese leak.

Have the screenings started yet? First screentimes I could find were 11am 🤔
It's likely not in america. Judging by the fact the cosplays I've seen have masks and if you look at the legal shit for US theaters they now have rules making that illegal to do because we can't have fun and clearly the guy dressing up as the giant teeth man is a criminal trying to obscure his identity while he shoots up the theatre, clearly.

...God I fucking hate current year so much man.

One of these days, I'm going to revisit TADC Episode 3 just to screech about how I can't believe the quality of writing can vary so much between that and Episode 9.

That's not illegal, it's just something private businesses are free to ban or allow.

If you couldn't cosplay to theater screenings, Rocky Horror Picture Show would be a forgotten relic of a bygone era instead of a beloved American Classic.

I was paying attention to that, but it never came across as him getting "pissed" about it. He would take someone aside, ask whats up, then blow them off entirely not even listening to the conversation. This happened several times.

Each time it happened I was never left with the feeling it was actually getting to him in anyway because he barely seems to actually care himself, it just come across like an AI following a script for a questionaire. The "I Am God" stuff at that point doesn't even feel "rushed", it feels like its just thrown in at the last second to move the plot along. It wasn't organic, it feels more like a spastic hissy fit out of nowhere from a character that never seemed to truely give much of a shit to begin with.
