Can't wait for the all average consumers to see the ending, go back through the series, and make a "signs that were obvious" video of all "foreshadowing" to then go and glaze the hell out of this project like it was modern shakespeare. People are actually going to cry and be destroyed on the inside over Jax abstracting. It'll be like when Bakugo "died" for one chapter and girls threatened to kill themselves over it so much that (Horikoshi?) had to bullshit him not dying by some literally who hero stitching him up and saving his life.
The lack of well made media is making bad media seem good. I haven't watched many shows/movies that I've actually enjoyed. Everything just feels like slop now. For every "Hereditary" there is a Hazbin Hotel. For every "Annihilation" there is a "Scream +1".
When the fuck did it all go downhill? How do you have millions of creatives in the field, yet none of them actually make anything of quality? They need to start requiring and I mean REQUIRE that show/movie writers have a finished script of the entire fucking thing before pitching even a pilot. All of it written the fuck down from start, to middle, to end. Then, if it's a cartoon, we strap down the Over the Garden Wall guy and make him go over it to see if its shit or not and fix anything he says to fix with no questions asked.
So sick of all these creators who don't know wtf they're doing being given the freedom to make the "Next Big Thing" and devolving into trash. They need to require only finished media before accepting, even if just the script (unless it's episodic with only a minimal story line like Smiling Friends. It's focused on comedy, not lore).
Have editors make changes. Have someone who looks dead in the creator's eyes and say "Fuck you that's retarded we aren't making the owl "truly" in love with an imp since childhood you dumb fujo-banshee".
It's especially dogshit when it's lgbtqiaBawitdabadabangdadangdiggydiggydiggysaidtheboogiesaidupjumptheboogie+ content. When Elton John dies these people are so fucked. We won't have a single non-bullshit gay creator in media ever again.
We just want well written and constructed media, man. Indie people need to be held to a standard professionally and creatively. Goose shouldn't be crying on main about his show. He shouldn't interact with them outside of resharing fanart and saying "thank you guys! You're support means everything to me!!".
No showing up to cons looking like slobs, no crying on the internet, no bitching about content farms, no crying about NEGA jokes, etc. Act like an adult and curate an adult audience. You want to act like a child online, don't be surprised when you're audience turns out to be children and man-children. Write a mature story thoroughly from start to finish or stfu.
