The Amazing Digital Circus - Western Isekai that probably will become Hazbin Hotel killer

The sudden inclusion of narration in this episode that never existed before is just one of the obvious clues for how fucking rushed this shit was.
Also, it's kinda heckin' problematic that Glitch cast all these WHITE actors to voice the avatars of all these brave people of color.

I genuinely, genuinely, hate every single goy motherfucker who paid and worked on this episode except for jersh and ppp, I want to see every single motherfucker involved in this besides those two to rot in vantablack gorillanigger hell

What was the point of the scene of Scratch coming back? He's not in any of the other scenes, so why? Was it to let Caine make a connection to the internet? Why? Whatever, at least I'm free from this now.
That scene took place in the past. It was meant to show a parallel between Caine first rebuilding their mental scans into sentient avatars and him breaking into the Internet.
It was just so poorly edited that it's impossible to tell what's happening when.

How likely was it that the episode was purely made for the "movie" release and cash in on the show's popularity, hense it being so easy for it to leak and these peicemeal addtions for every subsequent release happened in an attempt to try and salvage everything instead of just starting over with a better episode 9.

Seriously though, the spongebob comparisons just keep getting more and more apt as the entire show and what seemingly went on behind the scenes is like a inverse Pre-Movie spongebob where everyone involved didn't care and only milked it for what it was worth when it unexpectedly blew up instead of the execs and made the "movie" entirely as a crash grab/ratings trap instead of what went on behind the scenes of the first spongebob movie where it was seen as a challenge to make it happen by the people involved with that.

I remember sitting in the theater during this segment with just a sick feeling in my stomach, hoping against hope that Cooper would be able to hold himself back from going full troon allegory, and I almost thought we were gonna get through it without one when he confessed about almost killing his mom.
Then she stuck that bow on his head, and I immediately checked out for the rest of the episode. Fucker really couldn't help himself.

I was physically (literally) repulsed by this scene. I knew what was coming after "deep and personal" and was ready to cringe, but the way it was "executed" awakened a deep, primordial revulsion inside me. My mood was low for days after it, from the thought that I was invested in this shit and from the thought that I was considering about going to see "this" at the cinema and having it as some social event for me, Jesus fuck.

Again, thanks for nothing, Goose.

I get that but Jax shuts her down on friendly approach and shuns her for even appearing NEAR him. She might not even bring it up every time but he's still a complete faggot for mistreating someone he was comfortable enough to spill it all out to.
He's completely unreasonable even if he's a little embarrassed about it getting out to the others. The story he told Ribbit wasn't even that BAD, it's a very reasonable set of events and actions anyone would understand given his circumstances. Jax has no reason to be so blatantly evil towards her imo he's just insane in the most contrived manner.
It wasn't really evil though. He just didn't want to be friends with her anymore. Again, maybe the dude in me speaking, but if someone didn't want to be around me I'd just... leave them alone? Being thrown into a prison with strangers and expected to always get along with all of them all the time, forever and ever inshallah, sounds like actual hell. The montage even makes it look like ribbit necked herself over a guy she didn't know very well in the span of a couple weeks.

idk, the idea that someone can't ever say no to a friendship/relationship or the other party will kill themselves is very trannycoded

That said, I do like the idea that Ribbit tried to pull the same grooming trick on Kaufmo and thats why he stopped hanging out with her too. Him knocking wasn't bad timing, he was trying to save jax from the P. Ribby party. You know something is wrong with the frog when no one else hung out with her and even ragatha didn't bother to remember her. Very suspicious.

Release the Ribbstein files Caine.

Literally no reason why Kaufmo wouldn't be there for Ribbit. He went from being her closest friend to just a 3rd party once Jax got involved. Makes no sense.
She also seems like she'd be a tough nut w/ the banter she has with the 2 but doesn't have it in her to call out Jax for being a complete sperg?

Hideous writing
It's because you are only allowed to talk to other characters if you are a designated main character. Since Jax had the main character crown, none of the other lesser party members were allowed to talk to Ribbit anymore.

Then Pomni got the main character crown and decided to just change personalities and give Jax the same treatment.

I bet it's because the ending scene was thought up at the start with no actual path to get there planned.
The idea that Ribbit was an evil groomer, although a stretch, is hilarious by the way. I mean it would actually be narratively interesting, but we know this wasn't written with that in mind. The Jax that is canonically trapped in the circus is probably late high school 16-18ish since 22 is his age after being there for multiple years, but as a fake person brain scan he is stunted at teen angst forever. Ribbit was probably an adult. She was technically probably trying to cradle rob since she was probably college age.

I was laughing so fucking hard when I saw this scene, to make you understand the tonal dissonance, its as if I was watching a dramatic movie and then, all of the sudden, the characters have a shitass bollywood dance scene.
Stupid fucking frog deserved it.
Also I couldn't stop thinking "How long before that insufferable ITS ABSTRACTIN TIME! interruption is gonna play for the 6 millionth time?"

Why is faggot censored in episode 9? They showed that the cursing censor was removed with Caine's death in episode 8. Was it just that edgy that the word faggot brought back the digital censor one episode later?
Just when the nega hysteria died down, the presumption that the voice actor was recorded saying 'faggot' should hopefully spark things off again.

Pros:
>Animation's very pretty
Cons:
>Everything else
Jax abstracting instead of becoming an actual threat, this frog bitch coming out of nowhere, their very dumb relationship, how everything just felt so rushed.
In fact, I can prove that the brain scan bullshit was an asspull.
The computer at the end of episode 1 was animated. Even in episode 1 it was animated.
Yet for all "outside-the-computer" segments for this episode it was all real life.
People actually paid to see this shit. People held their breath for over 2 weeks trying not to get spoilered.

It's all so tiresome. I'm not sure why you would want this to be "representation" for your cult anyway. Jax ACKS in pride month and was a faggot to everyone around him and everyone moved on after he was gone. I can't stop thinking about how funny it is in hindsight.

It's almost as if the character was a complete and total afterthought up until halfway through the show.
