hence why though I know like the reason the stevie wonder music played was because it was like a compilation of pomni and jax together (It's not jax being trans like the video essay people say because it keeps playing after jax is braindead for good and the focus is solely on pomni laying in the bed surrounded by everyone) it should have been come sail away playing there because of all the fucking blatant parralels between the lyrics and elements of the plot including the asspulls.

There is also the fact that Tung Tung Tung Sahur is an Indonesian anomaly that appears to people if they don't heed his call for Sahur, attacking them with his bat. Pomni doesn't stand a chance against Triple T.

See, Zaslav was a fucking retard larping as a genius cutthroat businessman, and he didn't realize the most iconic part of Warner Brothers was the cartoons. Pretty much everyone in the 30-something demographic still watches cartoons and is desperate for decent western animation. There's a reason why there are war bunkers in Iran right now that are covered in graffiti of Spongebob and Smiling Friends.

So Glitch was able to fill a desperately neglected niche and make cartoons that widely appealed to kids, teenagers and youngish adults in general because barely anyone is capitalizing on that market.

So whether you love or hate these cartoons, you have Zaslav to thank for them.

Don't forget that Disney is also "disrespecting animation" according to the animation community, from prematurely canceling series like The Owl House, to the live-action remakes, to that failed Sora AI deal. There's a reason why so many people genuinely want Glitch to become the new Disney.

 
Can someone post the clip from the superchat segment of the stream before last where Jax has a realistic depiction of a panic attack and ACKstracts? Dear Feeder didn't finish it and didn't show the link onscreen so I wanna see how it ends and also keep it for future use

Whenever someone goes "animation is an art medium not a genre for kids" they always make something that isn't either. It's this denial that never leads to something like an Akira, or Memories (1995), or a Heavy Metal but rather these immature "adult" takes on something that could easily be made for kids. Something artful can be for kids and there is nothing wrong with that.

Comment mentions tall Pomni is cursed, and people defend it by saying it's better than putting her in a mech suit. Something tells me they did that for another short character and it didn't go over well.

As for cursed Pomni, I notice it's mostly fine when they show thigh up shots. It's the legs that are atrocious.
