God Y2K was such a beautiful treat.
It's my personal retreat to a more beautiful and colorful time, when everything felt like science fiction, and it all felt so weirdly natural along with that, too. The almost skeletal feel of the electronics felt almost intimate.
I actually made a charater based on the aesthetic, but he needs cleaning up to more closely fitting to it.

On 90s and Y2k, nothing does that nostalgia for me like Locomotion and MTV bumpers. It was an animation channel in Latam, played a lot adult animation and anime. I had Locomotion and MTV on all day and night.
I also love Brian Froud and Alan Lee. Faeries (the book) was one of the first things i bought when i started working.

I find liminal spaces pretty neat, liminal themed gmod maps are interesting and a good way to experience it imo! But I would never want to base my life aesthetic on it, and I suppose by definition, you cannot live in a liminal space, it's meant to be void of what makes a space inhabitable by a person.

I think if I ever change my household aesthetic from Goodwill Dumpster, I might go for whatever was going on in Rob Zombie's The Munsters 2022 movie. Good stuff there.

Listened to this years ago and thought it looked neat. I'm not sure what the art style is called and the only thing I can think of that resembles it is the Soviet sections of the space station from the Prey game a few years back.

Hell, yeah.
So, Liberty is the Italian equivalent of Art Nouveau. If you walk around many Italian cities you may see these gems:
Casa Galimberti by Giovanni Battista Bossi (1903-05), Milan - Look at those ceramic tiles and those wrought-iron balconies and tell me you don't love them, too
Speaking of balconies, look at these. Again, we're in Milan, this is Casa Ferrario, by architect Ernesto Pirovano.
Let's go back to Bossi for another jaw-dropping building - Casa Guazzoni once again in Milan:
This beautiful fresco can be found at the Terme del Corallo in Livorno, Tuscany:

When it comes to Art Déco architecture I'm a simple woman - I love the classics we're all familiar with. The Chrysler building, the Empire State Building and the Secession Building in Vienna, just to name a few.
Going back to Art Nouveau. I swear I could stare at any Alphonse Mucha piece in eternity. Just a couple of my favourites:

This is probably kind of Bed, Bath, and Beyond of me but I don't care and Liberty talk reminded me of it - I'm a big fan of these turn of the century kind of liqueur ads.
This one's more like the 30's but the colors are wonderful.
This is a little after art nouveau I think, when it starts turning art deco. Nouveau is just a touch busy for my taste and late art deco is a little too minimalist, but there was a brief period where they merged and man imo it's rad as hell. JC Leyendecker is kind of in that milieu.

The home interior aesthetic of the 1970's was also underrated. The browns, soft yellows, oranges, and greens give rooms a nice warm and cozy feeling, in stark contrast to the whites, blacks, and greys that have dominated homes for the past 30 years. I especially like the color Harvest Gold that was popular on large appliances and cabinets back then.
