That really does kind of kill any respect I had for the guy. I can't sit through his or YF's videos, but I thought it was cool for a nobody to come out and write a comic out of spite, even if its not something I had interest in buying. Shameful.

How does Nick keep dragging this kind of sped into his orbit?

Nick wants to help the gfm grow so Vic can launch a successful suit. Tug and the others do help bring attention and help the fund grow. Generally more voices means more attention and more for the warchest.

So we arrived in Knoxville and don't have VIP tickets, but we did want to swing by the convention center and check out the venue.

He's hiding his tattoo on his arm, which is also why he's wearing that left glove. He's trying (and failing so badly) at trying to conceal his identity.

Because nothing at all is less conspicuous than a 6+ foot tall man dressed entirely in black, with a balaclava, sunglasses, a single glove and a single bracer walking around with a Voorhees mask hanging from his person.

Good job at blending in.

At this point, since he's already doxed, Im guessing its just his irl cosplay. Unnecessary, but whatever, hes at a con. People have license to dress like clowns there. If he wears a mask and gloves to the grocery store or some shit then thats another story.

He came from Comicsgate. He doesn't comment on the shit quality of the books themselves like Ya Boi Zack, but on the drama surrounding Comicsgate. Typically it's about how unprofessional comic book creators are on twitter, he became a name from talking about how the 3rd biggest comic publishers (IDW) financials are in the toilet.

The IGG is his first book and it's unknown how the money is split. The deals are normally done before the IGG starts and are done on commission. Here is a list of page rates for the industry, so people can take a guess.

The "its copyrighted" was a battlecry of the azure narwhal if Im not mistaken. But, it is a copyrighted image of a white and red umbrella that is easily bought at walmart before and after resident evil came out. I cant imagine they would expect much of a victory if they pressed it. If I made a game with the "Sunflower Squad" as the villains and gave them a generic sunflower logo I doubt my trademark or copyright would be enforceable. Perhaps my specific sunflower image but not all sunflowers.

Well. Yes. I see him with the mask on I'm wanting to hear the guy go "STAAARRRS.." Then again Capcom might not like him tarnishing their rep / brand.
