Knowing the lyrics of all songs on the following albums: Battle Hymns, Into Glory Ride, Hail to England, Sign to the Hammer, Fighting the World, Kings of Metal, The Triumph of Steel.

what song deposerfies a poser?

It's a long process that you can't speed up. You start out as an unbearably clueless, tasteless faggot, and only after years of listening, learning, and participation do you become a supreme metal warrior. No shortcuts to the top, just one narrow, winding trail littered with the bodies of those who lack grit and courage. :jaceknife:

D.R.I. show last night was tons of fun. Last minute venue though, my brother keeps telling me good things about the original venue. I was looking forward to seeing it. The place it got switched to wasn’t bad, just a little hole in the wall in a strip mall. Spike popped a string with about 10 minutes left in the set, so no Beneath the Wheel or 5 Year Plan :(

Great energy from everybody though. Kurt both times I’ve met him has been a little standoff-ish, but at this point I think he’s earned it. Spike is always down to talk for long periods of time about anything. My brother plays guitar and talked to Spike for a long time about his gear before and after the show. Good night.

I am currently in an urgent care getting my hand checked out, I either sprained or broke something last night, not sure. I ain’t as young as I once was.
Glad you had fun! Sorry to hear about your hand. Thrashing like hell in the pit, maybe?
I saw DRI back in April and they put on a really good show and so did their openers.

Tomorrow I knew may not come…

Turns out I just bruised the shit out of my hand. Someone fell into my legs right when I got out of the pit and knocked me down very fast. I wasn’t expecting it and stuck my hand out and all my weight fell on my hand, knee and chest. Knocked the wind out of me. I had to take a breather by the side of the stage.

Earlier that night I was also pushed into and fell onto the stage right on my ass. Somewhat embarrassing. Somehow, someway, the most banged up I’ve gotten at a show up until this point. That or I’m getting older, either way, still a great night.
