After winning his first ever Grammy for King’s Disease back in March, Nas returns with a sequel to the album he dropped last night. His new song “Rare” is considered one of the highlights on the new album.

He even has a song with the likes of EPMD and Eminem, the latter which as far as I know is the first time these two have actually rapped on a song together:

 
Not really a huge hip hop fan outside of some basic shit but have been listening to alot of DemonDice lately and have no idea how to find similar stuff. Anyone feel like recommending some similar artists? A few tracks for example.
 

LL Cool J handed Tyler, The Creator the first ever Rock The Bells Cultural Influence Award at the BET Hip Hop Awards this past week.

He even did a behind the scenes interview with him as well:


Some are already predicting early that Tyler could get his second Grammy due to the success of his CALL ME IF YOU GET LOST album if he gets nominated. Still, it is too early to tell if that will happen.
 
So, I work in a restaurant with a Bluetooth speaker and today one of the employees, a middle school kid was playing the most obnoxious shit by Lil Baby. Got me nostalgic for my music so I went home and dug up my CD collection.


All night I've just been listening to the old shit from when I was growing up. Atmosphere is still fucking great, same with Aesop Rock and MF DOOM. I totally forgot how much I love the fugees and I'm absolutely ashamed I forgot the song "if you must" by del tha funky homosapien exists.
 
I felt old as fuck today. I'm listening to the radio and Fu Gee La was playing. I was fucking getting down with it when the host says "that's a classic right there. Rap from your daddy's era! "
I remember bumping that shit in school man.
