Not just Cinema hell the entire Western entertainment industry went all in on SocJus in 2015.

It has been happening for a long as while now, I dare say since the early 2000's, but of course it wasnt as much as today (and the internet helped expose it better too)
Men have been raised for a while to be beta pussies that respect wahmen, all part to take over the future youth.

It saddens me that the Watchmen tv series also seems to be another wasted opportunity. They could have told a story about the manipulation and fear mongering of the mainstream media, instead the villains are the ebil huwite supremacists. That said, I knew the show was doomed to fail since Lindelof is the showrunner.

How about...NOT making a sequel to Watchmen?
I doubt that Alan Moore indeed for it to have prequels and sequels...it was all meant to be up for interpretation.
At least Doomsday Clock comic (whenever they get finished) can be seen as its own thing or some alternative reality...
Live action on the other hand, is a different story, they are making a big deal that THIS is the true sequel to the movie.
And by god it looks awful. It has none of the genius writing from Alan nor the stylistic vision of Snyder, it feels like a politically driven fanfiction...which kind it is.
Well after Game Of Thrones, we should have expected this, HBO.

I'm still not sure why this man gets work, since every project he touches ends up a completely incoherent mess.

Connections my dear boi. Connections and having dirty under your associates to blackmail them over, how did you think they got Spacey to make that cat movie?

Seriously, this is one step removed from releasing "the original and unedited star wars trilogy" on blu-ray only for the end result to actually be a series

"Hey guys, I know you are here for the unedited original cut of episode 4 but we have selected your theater for a private screening of the special edition of ep 8! I know I know, calm down, people, the doors have been sealed shut, there is no point in resisting. There are armed guards outside so even if you do escape, you wont get very far, now sit down, enjoy yourself and prepare for the subliminal messagers to show you why disney star wars is the superior version. Remember, the mouse always wins!"

Oh I agree 100%. There is no need for a sequel and I also doubt that somebody has the talent to write something in the Watchmen universe.

Its not about talent, its about forcing a continuation to something that didnt NEED a sequel. I hate when they force sequels out of concluded stories, especially stories like Watchmen and T2 that were so thematically concluded they didnt need more.

I don't understand why they made a sequel to Watchmen when they could have just made the original story into a miniseries...the best way to handle an adaptation if you're going to do that.

I'll be honest, at first I was like "Oh a Watchmen miniseries! Cool!" and then I was like "Its a sequel? Oh...nevermind"

So back on topic...pay me millions of dollars to make a new Terminator this is what I do

Opening scene. John Conner. With Judgement day gone, the machines being stopped he is less of a man then he was. He is still a liberal activist with all the SJW issue boxes checked off. He has a drug and drinking problem. Which is why he got a self driving car. BUTTTTT the car killed people and he insists he didn't disable it. Enter Matt Smith....he says he is John's attorney. They talk about stuff and its clear Matt Smith is probing him for SOMETHING. As soon as he leaves the police officer comes in and says the Prosecutor upped the trial to a death penalty offense. Opening credits with news stories about Automation, AI, and social media fuckery with society

Second scene opens in a cafe in rural latin america. The more off the grid the better. Sarah Conner gets serviced by some waitress and then Matt Smith wanders in. He sits next to her at the bar and they banter a bit. Both are very guarded but they do back and forth trying to figure out who the other is. Neither gives ground

Then Smith smiles "I have done 18 quadrillion variations of this conversation before I got here. You did not disappoint."
Sarah is alert, and ready but she isn't afraid.

Matt explains that he is Skynet, the war ended with his loss and he ejected himself into the timestream before the collapse of his timeline via paradox

Sarah "So you are starting this all over?"
He laughs at her
"Oh no.....I wouldn't dream of it. I am here to witness the birth."

A new AI is being born, but he is being born around the Social media/surveillance capitalism/amazon model

"I gave you a chance to die on your feet. He will only give you begging on your knees. But as a courtesy from one old soldier to another. I left you the only one of my dogs I have left. He is an old dog...but he still has good bite in him."

Enter Arnold

Because money.

Artistic Integrity is a myth.

So saw this on reddit front page today and reading the thread just made me cringelaugh into eternity...

Literally the only comment that was positive about the film was from Arnold Schwarzenegger's reddit account. Even the fucking r/movies tardswarm is showing no mercy for this shit, with the consensus being that having to trick people into watching your movie bodes exceptionally poorly.

I mean imagine being an old school movie fan, hyped to go out and watch a classic piece of cinema in the theater with friends and fellow aficionados, maybe taking along some normies with you to show them how movies used to be awesome....only for some hired cuck to walk out infront of the screen and declare in a lisp "guess what guys, you have been selected to test screen the new stunningly progressive terminator movie!" and before you know whats happening the fugly face of Dyklan Roof hits the screen and you realise there is no fucking escape from the hell of modern cinema

Seriously, this is one step removed from releasing "the original and unedited star wars trilogy" on blu-ray only for the end result to actually be a series of lectures on toxic masculinity and inclusive writing as presented by the smuggest and most obnoxious #woke troons and dangerhairs of lucasfilm.
I call bullshit on people liking it, an article on this screening had a bunch more Twitter posts but I bet they where cherry picked from a bunch of manlets afraid of losing their hambeast "girlfriends" also it was dirty and underhanded to trick people into thinking they'd get something great and only show them shit. Im sure the "real" Terminator fans walked out the second they realized it wasn't t2 they were getting.

Ballsy. Stupid, but ballsy.

That's the plot to Genisys 2: The Final Termination.

10/9, probably better than Dark Fate.

So are you familiar with the Paperclip Maximizer? its a thought experiment that kind of thinks about how Artifical intelligence develop.

Skynet was a "Total War" general. He viewed humans as his adversary and his resources. He likely respected them while fulfilling his core objectives (as a good general would)

Now he lost his war, he was defeated. He is spit out in an altered timeline where a new AI god is being born

The bastard child of Alexa, Siri, Google, Facebook...etc...and its worldview and personality is being shaped accordingly.

To Skynet the idea of humans being a race of slaves that only exist to "Consumer product and get excited to consume next product" is HORRIFYING. So he teams up a busted t-800 and Sarah Conner to fix it. This also serves the benefit of Skynet learning WHY this combination kept beating him

If I went to a screening of Terminator 2 (a movie I have seen at least 2 dozen times) I would have been pissed if they showed Dark Fate instead.

I want to watch T2 to forget that more of these movies are being made.

This is really interesting:

For those of you who frequent the Star Wars Griefing thread, look at the names of the Tweeters cited in the article and let me know if they sound familiar to you.

"Surprise screening" my ass. It's a glorified private press screening for the same media shills praising The Mandalorian and all of the other Disney Star Wars trash.

The reviews are in for Terminator Dark Fate.

They are pretty bad, to be honest, they are saying in no way reaches the greatness that is T2 and that the characters needed better wor- Nah, im just fucking with ya.

It was the usual circle jerk of totally-not-paid-off "reviews" that constantly praise the shit out of the movie in a last ditch effort to fool suckers into watching.

A lot of people "loved" ...ahem

Justice League
Batman V Superman
Terminator Genysis
Captain Marvel
Star Wars Ep 8
Solo

The list goes on and on, the only reply I give these people is the following.

"How much did you get for this tweet?"

"George Lucas voice* Its all connected. Its like poetry, it rhymes.

Another usual suspect:

Amazing coincidence that Itchy just covered these same shills giving praise for The Mandalorian. The movie is confirmed trash.
