I've been having slight issues with video sizing ever since the new player was added. Was able to be avoided for most videos, but I'm working on a thread of a guy who only records mobile vertical videos, when inserted they appear as massive. Downscaling them to lower resolutions doesn't seem to change the initial insertion size, and if I try to use the 'Change size' tool on this site the video will completely disappear upon checking preview or posting. I am going to insert a video in between these 2 paragraphs and resize it so any mods can see what I mean, the post will show no inserted attachment.

Opening it back up in edit mode after posting will then show the attachment as the initial massive insertion size again. Any ideas?
After processing for me at least they go down to a normal size. Give it about 5 minutes and check back to see if they are still huge. In editing they are always larger size even before the player was added.

Images often get size="0x0" set in the BB code during preview causing them to be invisible, you can remove it with the toggle code [] button. I think it started when Null tried to restrict size in auto thumbnails, it's been like that for a while and probably the same thing for video.
I made a post about that in this thread a month ago. It's something weird where .avatar.avatar--s and .avatar.avatar--m get their width / height ratios overridden with very strange values (in specific places, like DMs and profile pages, on the site might I add).
Not exactly a pressing issue but for some reason this freshly nuked spammer still has at least one post I could find while his profile shows no posts under the postings/activity tabs and the counter is at zero too. On mobile(Android+Chrome) if that matters.

I am not sure if it is KiwiFarms or Brave or my EndevourOS Linux install, but I think the new player has a memory leak or something. When I try to maximize it to the entire screen my pc crawls to a halt and my SSD (where both my Linux and Brave are installed) reports it has been completely filled up. It literally causes downloads to stop and stuff like LibreOffice and games to be unable to make new saves.
I have just repeated it, so I can confirm the cause is the player apparently. Closing the tab and waiting a moment makes the storage warning go away and the empty space to come back.
I’ve repeatedly been getting an error when trying to access the site from the IOS safari browser. This error isn’t happening on the same device when using an onion browser. The error reads as follows.
The error was: “FetchEvent.respondWith received an error: Returned response is null.”
This had been happening for a few days. At one point, the site loaded and worked properly for a little bit, but then this began again shortly after, and has persisted
