Or if that setting for privacy is being deprecated, an alternative is to allow people to delete whatever messages are put on their profile. I honestly think that should be allowed anyway. No one should have to deal with exceptional faggots posting garbage to their profile.

It is ridiculous to expect users to have no control over the content people can add to their profile using messages. If users can't prevent crap from being posted to their profile, and they don't have the ability to delete it, then profile messages should just be removed, full stop.

Lol, calm down. Turning "post messages off" just means people can't respond to messages on your profile.

I've been unable to get past the DDoS protection page while using Pale Moon since early October.
 
That's weird. Where you logged into your account when you used other devices? Or are you not seeing it even when logged out?

I do not appear to be able to either send or receive emails from my lolcow.email address. Thus far neither I nor the people sending the email have gotten any bouncebacks.

Something up with it? Apologies if this is a known ddos side effect and I'm being rarted.
 
Email is the one of the first things that goes down when a ddos happens, he's pulling resources from the sister services to the main site.

For whatever reason the mail queue queued up 41,000 emails from the kf mailbot. I've killed them all and am watching it.
