The inability of valve to even add accurate and useful patch notes is something I'm always bewildered by
 
It seems that some of changes that Valve made are available on the SDK under the following commit, showing that Valve has done the following:

Added a new console option called "tf_voice_command_suspension_mode" with the following options: 0 = None | 1 = No Voice Commands | 2 = Rate Limited (default)

The rate limiting seems to be triggered when "BHaveChatSuspensionInCurrentMatch()" is true, which then follows a simple token bucket of 5 voice commands every six seconds. (per tf_voice_command_suspension_rate_limit_bucket_count and tf_voice_command_suspension_rate_limit_bucket_refill_rate)

The "BHaveChatSuspensionInCurrentMatch()" check also applies for in game chat, but what criteria to have a chat suspension is exactly unknown, aside from being a F2P.

Basically:
Due to how Source 2 development is typically file structures for games are based on projects that need the resources to require something like
>HLVR
>CS2
>Citadel
>dota2beta
>HLX
to be referenced in the backend

CSGO when it was ported to Source 2 for a brief period and L4D3 (which was shelved in 2015) were CSGO_Imported and L4D3 respectively
The tiny bit of HOPIUM here is that suddenly, a file referencing

tf

has appeared in Source 2's backend from deadlock which means there's a big enough project internally that needs Source 2 engine resources to pull that similar to how HLX only appeared fairly recently
or even HLVR (Alyx) had signs of that back in the days of dota2
there's potentially something related to Team Fortress being developed enough internally at Valve to have needed its' own Source 2 structure.

If were doing some Hopium, then I want it to be a fully fledged version of MVM into its own game.

OR

TF3 with the 1850's mercs like John Henry as the heavy or Abraham freakin' Lincoln as the pyro.

STOP POSTING ABOUT TF3! I'M TIRED OF SEEING IT! Nu-TF2 tourists on r/tf2 post about TF3, on Steam it's fucking TF3. I was in the TF2 forum, right? And ALL OF THE POSTS were just TF3 stuff. I showed Deadlock to my wife's boyfriend and I said "Hey dude, it's just like TF2 and Valve can't count to 3! HAHA DING, DING, DING DING... DING, DING-" I fucking looked at a file referencing TF in Source 2's backend and said "THAT'S LITERALLY TF3!" I looked at the 7th comic's 5 teams I think of TF3 and I go "TF3? TF3 CONFIRMED VALVE CARES AGAIN!!!" AAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH

His older videos are good, but his new stuff is made for Adderall addicted zoomers that can't go a few seconds without a visually stimulating gag less they kill bind. There's far too many gags and awful pacing, it's exhausting watching his current GMod animations (also, he's a BlueSky furry now).
 
What even is that animation?!

Honestly seeing some Gmodders like Delak, Lalve and Genowhirl become Bluesky/furry/pronoun tards is tough stuff. More importantly, there's a growing number of TF2 animators that flat out stop uploading and fall off the grid as time goes by; I suppose there's only so long you can expect the monkey to keep dancing for you 🤔

Yeah, tbh it kind it felt meh. Funny but it's a little forgettable. I like old gmod videos rather than modern gmod animators trying to make the faces of the tf2 characters or other valve characters stretch into cartoons. I miss bortmachine man.....
