Fun fact: vitamin B12 is only present in animal-derived foods and is one of the nutrients that's absolutely essential for the human development and health. That's why some groups of people throughout history (like Jains or Buddhists) who emphasized compassion for other living creatures have been traditionally vegetarian and consumed dairy/eggs, but there hasn't ever been a successful culture or religion that adhered to a 100% vegan diet. And while I don't have anything against vegans as a whole, the list of symptoms of B12 deficiency would certainly explain the behaviour of the crazier ones.

To be fair it makes no sense and is one of the reasons I have never traveled there. Especially since I believe you can't just do the shit online and have it done within a few minutes.
Generally speaking poorer 3rd world countries allow people from 1st world countries to visit with a visa on arrival (no paperwork bullshit required) because it means tourism dollars.

I may not like TayTay but I certainly don't blame her for thinking India would have a visa on arrival policy for Americans and other 1st world countries. It literally makes no economic sense.

But of course for someone who is still remotely paranoid about COVID for some reason, India is about the very, very last place you would ever want to visit.
