The very first interaction I had with the media, a reporter came and interviewed me, got the true story (I was the only witness to the events they were reporting on) then went away and wrote a story that bore no relation to what had actually happened.
At the time, I put it down to being 'It's just one of Murdoch's Red Top tabloids. That's what they do.' Today, I think they might have been the only honest players in the game. At least they made no pretence about what their agenda was and what they were prepared to do to forward it.

Please...I agree with your sentiment here but we have GOT to put an end to this "they/them" non-binary grift! Non-binary is not an identity any more than being a "furry" or a "brony" is a valid identity! This is fucking BULLSHIT - harmful shit!!
I say this from real life experiences. Not even trying to powerlevel here, but this is fucking escalating day by day here and I have experienced it myself!
The non-binary grift hurts EVERYONE because it invalidates not only FEMALES but anyone, even "nice" trannies (and I know, I know, there are no "nice" trannies but at least go with me here!). This shit is literally tearing society apart on both of the coasts.

90k a year in private education fees growing up, likely even more in University Tuition, paid for by her parents. Like I said before, she's not "tech journalist", she writes about people using social media, like that's something exclusive to a certain elites. She spends her full time online and she thinks that makes her an expert. That's like saying that driving your car makes you an expert on mechanics and engineering.

Until Elon actually sells his near total ownership, he's still in charge. He actually does best in situations like this, like SpaceX. I really hope he goes back to work on Starship because they is needing a lot of help now. So in the end it's possible this won't be too bad of an outcome, but who knows.

Sometimes the conspiracy brain in me thinks #DropKiwiFarms got the attention of someone like Musk or Thiel and they're either directly or indirectly backing the farms. My big one is that null is just a paid actor hired by Musk.
This would sort of explain something I've never understood. Why the fuck do these people never retire? If I had a hundred billion dollars I'd be out, I'd buy an island and leave humanity behind. Always thought continuing to work when you have more money than you could spend in a thousand lifetimes was a form of insanity.
