I think she has shared about that before. Those are mental illnesses- skin picking and hair pulling driven by the same kind of biochemical and psychosocial elements as OCD. Usually treated with the same types of drugs and therapy. They aren't anything that would make her high risk for covid complications. (Though they do make her high risk for being a hypochondriac.)

Twitter Safety Mode is a thing you can turn on, it will automatically throttle accounts you don't follow if they try to tweet at you in any form too often based on a whole bunch of analytics. Since Taylor is a Blue Check I would assume the system looks at her behavior, especially constantly going private and back public and then blocking and reporting probably billions of accounts and says "this BPD munchie said something stupid again and people are trying to tell her" and blocks that. He replied to her twice and then tried a third and got the message, so Taylor's taught the system to be pretty sensitive, but obviously not sensitive enough since it should have stopped this fascists harassment before he tweeted it instead of compromising her literal safety like this.

Yikes, way to discount her lived experience. This is literally violent harassment of an immunocompromised female journalist during a pandemic.

LOS ANGELES, CA—Washington Post multimedia tech journalist Taylor Lorenz called out conservatives for bad faith criticism after she stepped on a garden rake, hitting herself in the face.

"Bad-faith right-wing actors have sabotaged me again!" she cried after her face was comically smacked by a garden rake. "Help, I'm being attacked just for being a journalist!"

Lorenz was reportedly enjoying a morning stroll while stalking a family of conservatives who thought Biden's policies were "problematic." She was planning to expose them when the rake seemingly jumped out of nowhere to threaten her life.

When authorities arrived on the scene she lambasted them for attempting to destroy her credibility.

"Stop pointing out the dumb things I do! You're an Ultra-MAGA actor working to undermine my important work!" she told a paramedic. "You need to educate yourself on Russian disinformation and racist dog whistles!"

Tucker Carlson was able to obtain CCTV footage of the incident and played it repeatedly on his program. Lorenz reportedly filed a cease and desist order which claimed Carlson was taking the clip out of its grander context. This prompted Carlson to read the cease and desist letter on air and laugh until he cried.

Shoe definitely does it, or at least did when she was younger. There are vids of her where she's for sure wearing a wig, hence why people call her wigonhead. Her hair looks more natural now so maybe she got over it.

agreed. but I think this and the "I keep my apartment at 85 degrees" thing, among others, are attempts at "trolling." a lot of posters in her irony-left twitter milieu of do a very unfunny and severely-degenerated form of fakeposting like that. a few months ago she made a post about her age that had the same tone.

I believe she is posting insane, self-deprecating "jokes" about herself and then she and her orbiters giggle at the stupid normies who think she basks in a reptile terrarium and drinks 3 gallons of water a day. isn't it just so droll. she knows everyone hates her and she is stoking it on purpose.
