She seems to have other kids who are normal, though they don't look exactly happy in some of the pics she has on FB. I'll bet they're sick of her constantly going on about her dead kid in between shilling scentsy instead of actually being a parent.
Since there's now a separate thread for Luna, I guess that means all new Luna content/updates should go there instead of here, right?

I just love how they call themselves "Momma Bears" when in reality, "if a mother bear in the wild gives birth to unhealthy or deformed cubs, or is unable to find enough to eat, she will typically kill and consume them."

Aw shit. She mentions genetic, degenerative microcephaly, which I know was one of the things wrong with the Hartleys. I wonder if they have the same condition?
They do look less fucked up than the Hartleys, though it might be because they're younger. It would be wild if they have the same condition since IIRC what the Hartleys had was so rare that the only other examples as bad as them were inbred middle eastern kids.
Either way I'll bet Gwen has already slipped into her DMs.

Great warriors know when it's right and just to end a life.
These poor little children have suffered so much to no end. Not to advance a cure for their torments, just to pacify someone else's pain. It's so sad. Their babies lived to suffer for nothing. God help all of our souls.

Wondering if this is MOBA Syndrome:
"Microphthalmia-brain atrophy (MOBA) syndrome is a rare genetic neurodegenerative disorder characterized by congenital microphthalmia, sunken eyes, blindness, microcephaly, severe intellectual disability, progressive spasticity, and seizures. Psychomotor development is normal in the first 6-8 months of life and thereafter declines rapidly and continuously. Brain MRI reveals progressive and extensive degenerative changes, especially cortex, cerebellum, brainstem, and corpus callosum atrophy, with complete loss of cerebral white matter."
It's autosomal recessive so would mean both parents would need to be carrier, if it is this they had 25% chance their 2nd child would have it.
There is also Progressive cerebellocerebral atrophy.

Found the mom's Facebook page - seems like it's not exactly the same conditions as the Hartley's, but similar enough. You have to wonder why they decided to have a second kid within 2 years of the first, without being sure it wouldn't happen again? 
And good god, the video of her "playing" is deeply disturbing - it's plain to see that she's having seizures while the mom coos at her and tells her she's doing a good job. I'm having Jaxon Buell flashbacks

It's just so surreal how many of the comments on her posts are about how cute and beautiful this kid is. Who are these people kidding? I feel so much for the normal twin, you know her life revolves around the comatose sister's needs and photo ops

Definitely steroids. Heroic amounts of steroids, probably. But also, these brainless kids can’t move, so they hardly burn any of the calories they’re given. Their metabolisms must be almost zero.
And I’m sure most doctors DO largely see these kids as a lost cause. They’re just not allowed to have much of an opinion about it.

They defiintely had more going on these children do seem to respond to some stimuli and the parents seem to fully admit their children are severely neurologically impaired.
This seems to be what they are linking the disorder to possibly being a subtype of though these all occur later in childhood:

At least Sydney and Charlie appear healthier and happier than the Hartleys - just quickly skimming through the instagram, these kids appear to be getting proper nutrition, medications, immunizations, and simple home therapies (PT/OT).
I don't have much sympathy for parents who have more than 1 ~medically complex~ child. Not when you live in a developed nation with access to genetic counselling/prenatal screening/abortion. Why not just wait a few years to have a second child? Get your genomes sequenced and rule out any weird heritable mutations, before bringing another poor microcephalic into the world? Such a dangerous and selfish gamble.
