🤝 Community Tard Baby General (includes brain dead kids) - Fundies and their genetic Fuckups; Parents of corpses in denial

Oh God poor Shia will never hear the end of how her half-assed birthday celebration killed the potato if Revie ends up croaking. They would have been in Philly had that darn healthy child not been born on that particular day!!

As if those kids aren't damaged enough already (:_(

Reading between the lines here CHOP is totally doing the "wow yeah that's so weiiiird" thing to placate Brit about her being blacklisted from the local hospital. She's too self-absorbed to see it as anything but unquestioning support of her narrative that she nindu nothing but aDvOcAtE for her tater. CHOP's gotta be on to her dramatics by now no?
They're apparently at Timp, not CHOP, as she's already blacklisted by CHOP. But yes, I highly doubt Timp is actually calling CHOP to request they take a genetic mess of a toddler, who is currently unstable, in case she declines further and needs ECMO. I'd be amazed if anyone was actually considering it, it's really fucking invasive and risky on a previously healthy adult, for a sick kid? It's time to stop fighting and cherish these last days.

They’re talking about putting this poor tater on ECMO and the mom is still like, “Thank god for Starbucks lol, feeling cute might transfer to CHOP later idk.”

Coming back from ECMO is so unlikely. I can’t believe Timp is even letting them stay, they’re not equipped for this AT ALL. They’re a tiny regional hospital with probably no specialists for a mess like this.

Like someone said in the thread earlier, I don’t think Brittany ever grasped that this was the inevitable outcome of the kid’s condition. They weren’t going to “solve the puzzle” because that’s not possible, she was just going to deteriorate over time like most people so genetically unlucky.

I hope Revie dies before anyone agrees to put her on ECMO. It's really ghoulish to put someone on it if they're not likely coming off, because every possible way it ends after that is horrible.

If you do the right thing and withdraw care, it's not like pulling a tube and maybe getting a little while with your family member before they croak, if they're on ECMO it's a matter of turning the machine off and that's it.

If it goes wrong wrong, it's horrific- even in an adult the pump moves your entire blood volume a minute. go figure what happens if anything in there kinks, clots, or nightmare inducing, dislodges. What's most likely is a clot takes Revie out but I really hope all the ECMO centres just say no. There’s only so many.

Yeah, only an narcissist would get excited over having their child on their deathbed. But at any rate, I'm looking forward to the funeral-posting

Actually no, this isn't exactly just footage. If it's true, then he's a jerk. It's a different situation, when you ditch your footage with your colleagues, who aren't emotionally bonded with the footage. Chris come to someone, upped them emotionally, and then just ditched them.
This dude just creeps me the fuck out. He's so completely fake.

No one's putting Revie on ECMO, unless they are a lunatic. From what I understand putting somebody on ECMO is a complicated procedure. If something goes wrong, and Revi dies, the doctor putting her on ECMO will have to go through lawsuits and will be hated very thoroughly on the internet, extremely defamed by Brittany. Even if the doctor does everything right, they'll be screwed. Revie is probably the first and only such case with her disease even at the Primary. There are I think quite a few things, that could go very wrong, that don't happen with regular children in a similar situation, that a doctor can't predict.
And there is also another psychological aspect - you don't want to be the one to kill Revie. The doctor would blame himself, if Revie died on the table, I think.

I mean even if they the fully palliative path, Revie can still get oxygen and her anti seizure meds, just not the ECMO and similar stuff. She could be dying with hardly any pain surrounded by her family. Meanwhile she's dying but in unfamiliar place. I hope she doesn't have any awareness left, because it must be scary for a kid.
Saturation 70% on maxed oxygen??? I know nothing, but this is like tragically bad. Nevermind, I can't explain this thing, but basically it's very bad. If her saturation drops this low often, then her brain is deprived of oxygen, which means more brain damage. So if she gets "better", then she's just going to have more and harder seizures.

Also why the fuck is she posting starbucks coffee, is she like maximizing the amount of instagram posts "hey let's see if I can make a million instagram posts"?
And what does she mean by saying, that Revie's lungs might regenerate, when she fights off the infection? Lungs aren't liver. I mean they will work better after the infection, but if the infection is causing actual lung failure or something, then they won't regenerate I think? If lungs have the capability to regenerate, then why do we even have diseases like COPD???

I'm feeling sorry for all the nurses and the other staff, because they have to entertain that bitch Brittany.

I hope someone in the family recognizes that this is probably the end for Revie and tells her sisters so they can get a chance to say goodbye. It seems like they love their potato sister, and the one who just had a birthday will carry so much guilt. Britaiaianannny clearly doesn’t care about their emotional well-being.

Revie was already constantly getting sick and it usually went into pneumonia, after this her lungs will be even more fucked. Honestly I'm a little suprised she hasn't already been taken out by some drug-resistant infection. Plus the prolonged low oxygen... it would be petty amazing if she doesn't have organ damage.

They're not going to go through lawsuits if a child dies on last ditch treatment. If you need ECMO, your choice is ECMO or being dead.

I tried to see what some of Revie's infusions were on the pumps but couldn't read them. But as a general rule if you're needing that many infusions you're doing doing well.

Yeah you don’t get sued over “unsuccessful” ECMO. More than half of people who get ECMO die, because it’s only used as a last resort. In my personal experience, it’s usually used when someone is about to get a transplant to keep them from dying before the organ is available. Other than that it’s truly a last resort and usually ends poorly.

The fact that they let one of the daughters do those dance conventions is so telling. Those things are pedo-bait nightmares and totally disgusting

This whole thing with Revie is truely sad as she isn’t/wasn't braindead or mostly unaware like so many in this thread. Maybe if she didn't have such a nutter of a mom her prospects would've been less grim.

I doubt she'd have ever been smarter than a baby, probably below Paige even, but she could be bouncing in her bounce chair at home instead of flying across the country. That period where Revie was being bagged at home for extended periods was almost certainly the hospital trying to let her die from a seizure instead of ... this.

Uuuh what? They had her do rounds with them, as in checking on patients while she tagged along? Or did she mean they just showed her other parts of the hospital? Because having some random crazy woman tag along as they perform duties or talk about private medical information with other patients is really not okay.

"They pulled me into a chair and did full unit rounds with me the whole team. 15+ people. A parent at the center."

This is so transparently a fantasy that I'm kind of embarrassed on her behalf for posting it on the internet in front of God and everybody. 'A parent at the center' of everyone's attention, making sure The Most Resilient Mama Bear In The Whole Wide World gets to see and be part of everything? Did she write this with one hand?

"The ICU doctor helping from NY came into my room and asked if they always do that? I said I didn't know, but it was really cool they did. He said he wants to take it back to do at his hospital."

And of course the out-of-state ICU doctor stood up and clapped.

Also, 'my room' really jumped out at me. Not Revie's room. Brittainy's room.

I know we all know she's an insane narc but Christ.

You're right, a sane person wouldn't sue, but this is Brittany. She looks like she's gonna sue whoever, and even if the lawsuit falls through, the accused doctor will get stressed hard. Especially if the doctor makes a small mistake, Brittany will have a meltdown that that was a deciding mistake, even though we all know Revie couldn't have been saved.

I'm wondering, what actually happened, well the most likely scenario is that Brittany simply lies, but why would she lie to make the doctors look better? Maybe she wants Primary to look especially bad idk. I'm thinking of a scenario, in which this could have happened, but the only such scenario is if Revie was alone on the ward.

She also refers to Revie's doctors as her doctors.

I really think if Revie dies shes going to go after primary to try to blame them for it in some way. This whole "if only i could go there for what she needs but i'm banned" with no letter to prove this really feels like setting up to try to cash cow off them for a wrongful death suit.
