While asking Dr Google what the fuck a Lennox-Gastaut syndrome is, a keto diet being a treatment for it came up. Am assuming she’s talking about having the spud do keto, and that the real doctors think there’s enough wrong with her that it might be a net minus for her overall condition.

Revie was in hospital for prolonged periods, and she has a feeding tube (swallowing difficulties maybe?) so if she was for a ketogenic diet it would need to be approved by the Doctors and Dietician.
It's certainly a thing for children with epilepsy, but it's outside my area of expertise regarding who benefits etc.

The ketogenic diet for epilepsy is extremely difficult to manage, and only recommended when everything else has failed. It's somewhat easier if a person is being tube-fed, and it's basically Atkins on steroids.

A person on an Atkins or "keto" diet might go into 1+ ketosis. The diet for epilepsy recommends 3+, 4+, or even 5+, and those can be life-threatening if not properly managed.

I think she's taking it so lightly because Revie didn't fall far. It sounds like the kid was trying to walk and face planted because she's seriously fucking disabled. I cannot imagine any situation where a normal person drops their child/their child falls and bleeds by accident, and their first immediate reaction (or one that they choose to convey online) is what other people might think of them and if they might call CPS. Nobody would think of anything with the explanation "I unbuckled her, she leaned forward in her stroller, she plonked forwards and fell." Instead, there's at least three instances of a Freudian slip where she gets worried about looking like she mistreats her child.

I'm also bewildered by Brittainy's account of events, I have only skimmed the thread but I got the sense that she really is just that apathetic. The way she wrote about it is as if this was a babysitter describing something they weren't prepared for, except this is the child's mother. Why isn't she aware that her child likely needs diapers for her incontinence issues? Why is having wipes a rare occurrence? Why is she unbuckling her child and leaning Revie forward to wipe her off, instead of taking her out of the stroller fully? Also, the way it's described makes it seem like she wiped both an open wound and the poop pretty indiscriminately

For someone who loves putting intricate details of their child up for everyone to see, she doesn't seem to know basic childcare tasks, like preparing for accidents or cleaning up after one. Seeing that she wakes her other children up at night to care for Revie, I have a nagging feeling she's not as involved in her child's care as she makes herself out to be (I mean, she forgot one of her kids' birthdays, ffs). The comment about Revie's hair and relating it to Primary's supposed neglect makes me feel like it's not just a dunk - something tells me Brittany might have just plonked Revie there as if it was daycare, and got mad when she found out it wasn't. Wild extrapolation, I know, but I'm so MATI right now

She outright has said she hates doing mom stuff and she very obviously hates being a mom. She's lazy and low-class, she doesn't want to be burdened by her own children, she does as little as possible and when she's forced to do stuff she forgets basic things and puts no work into planning or being prepared. Bitch admits she didn't even usually have wipes, how can you be three kids in and not have wet wipes as a fifth appendage??
