No, not really. The average sword was about 3 pounds heavy. The largest greatswords meant for combat weren't over 5 or 6 pounds /sperg

I remember this one GIF/video of a katana breaking while trying to cut a European sword (IIRC) caused a small flamewar once.

Last one is just a guy holding a spiked club. Still, he does come off as edgy like the first image. Swords may as well be a way of one saying "look how edgy I am" if they were to ever wield it and tried to look threatening. Cringeworthy can also apply, especially if they were to say how they'd cut you up for something like disrespecting women or saying how idiotic they look.
