I don't think they were. Lundy Bancroft, the guy who wrote "Why Does He Do That?", works with wifebeaters and abusers, and he says loads of them claim they were abused in childhood. But he challenges them on it: if they know how bad it feels, why do it to someone else?
That's when they usually recant and admit they were lying to get sympathy, and when the sympathy isn't forthcoming, they admit it. Remember paedos learn to manipulate people, not just the children they abuse, they groom everyone around them.
Good reminder.
Some definitely were (look at Aimee Challoner, in and out of council care and his dad serving 22 years for child rape of another child of the family) but paedos lie and lie.
Wonder how this one was introduced to Mermaids? Did he come in via another trustee/staff member or just make a direct approach to Green?
there will be a network, and either Mermaids is part of it or Susie Green is too stupid to see it.
Wonder how the senior citizen lesbian cat ladies of the LGB Alliance are feeling today?
Extremely schadenfreude-y, I’d imagine.

Trans charity trustee steps down after controversial 2011 speech
Dr Jacob Breslow, who was a PhD student in gender research, shared his controversial research that appeared to criticise society's understanding of paedophiles at a US event.
Edit to avoid double post:
What’s that, Benjamin Cohen of Pink News? Is that the sound of you rapidly back pedalling away from the stench of (outed) paedo?
The Paedo you puff-pieced for back in 2007?
